The Wet-Stop3 enuresis alarm teaches nighttime dryness using an alarm attached to the pajamas near the ear and a moisture sensor held onto ordinary close-fitting cloth underwear. The alarm is attached using a magnet that holds the unit onto the neck of the shirt. More

Comments: Our son is 7 and he could never make it through the night. His cousin had the same problem and used this product and within a month was not wetting the bed anymore. I told our son about his cousin and he begged me to get this for him. He is such a hard sleeper but this worked great!! He hooked himself up every night. It took about 3 weeks for him to start waking up to the alarm and not having a wet bed. But within that 3 weeks he had several nights that the alarm did not go off and he did not wet the bed. At 4 weeks, he has had no wetting in days and no alarm going off! I love to see his face in the morning, he is so proud of himself. We love the small size and the different sounds. The only complaint my son had was the cord was too long and it bothered him to be under his PJ top. He never got tangled in it or anything like that though and he did lay it next to him some nights and it still worked great. He did set the alarm off a few times putting on the sensor himself. He was dry but his fingers had moister and would set it off. Other than that, it was worth every penny and I wish we had done it sooner! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: 10 year old was still being wet every single night. So, we tried this out. We put a baby monitor in our room to hear the alarm since he sleeps in the basement. The alarm went off as stated. After a few days, my son was able to take care of everything by himself. Now, about six weeks later, he has been dry (without the monitor) for four days in a row! That's never happened before, so we're very pleased with this product and will be using it on our 6 year old next! |

CONS
BEST USES Comments: At first it took some getting use to (noise, learning to turn it off). We gradually went from wet beds in week 1, to wet underwear and wet spot on the bed week 2, to more dry nights and occasional wet underwear and dry bed week 3. By week 4 and 5 we had a week of consecutive dry nights even without the alarm. It's the only thing that has worked. We are thrilled! |

Comments: THe wetstop worked great for a while, although my daughter usually woke up in total hysteria from her deep sleep. After 3 or 4 months of trying, it seemed like it wasn't always going off. This is why we decided to put it to rest and revisit later. However, I discovered that the problem was actually the sensor had a loose connection with the cord and now it won't work at all without a lot of wiggling... and the warranty has run out. |

Comments: This alarm works great for my 10 year old son, who was really getting down on himself for the bedwetting issue. We've been using it for about 2 months now, and it took a while, but instead of being wet every night it's been about 2 weeks of dry nights so far! He's now waking himself up to go at night! My only complaint (and its not a big deal) is that the alarm is a little TOO sensitive-sweaty hands clipping it on at night will set it off! But all in all this product has been a godsend to my son's self esteem. I'd definitely recommend it-great price/great product! |

BEST USES Comments: Ours arrived in a taped box, with batteries already in it,making me suspect it had previously been used. When the alarm wouldn't work, I called the help line and was advised if the batteries weren't full charged product wouldn't work. I changed the batteries and the product worked...for 3 days...not at all a pracctical product for us. I truly believe I received a damaged, used product. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: Our almost 9-year old daughter had never had a dry night until we used this product. She would wet multiple times in a night, even. We brought her to the doctor to see what we could do as she was getting embarassed about having to wear pull-ups. The doctor recommended a bed alarm, which we had never heard of, and I wish I had known about this years ago. We purchased it two and a half weeks ago, and our daughter has already been waking up dry for a week. The sensor is very sensitive, but easy enough even for a child to turn off. We are extremely happy with the results, and our daughter is so proud of herself now. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: My son is a heavy sleeper and pulled on the alarm when it started going off during his sleep. The plug going into the device broke. I have to tape it each night to get it to plug in. It is a big hassle to repair it each night, therefore no longer use it. Really thought it would hold up better. Don't really want to spend the money to purchase a new one. That is only complaint. |

BEST USES Comments: This worked really well for our son. Just make sure you keep fresh batteries in it, or it doesn't work. But it was easy to use, sensitive, loud enough to wake him, and after less than two weeks he wasn't wetting the bed at all any more! |

Comments: This product had many false alarms from sweat, and sometimes from seemingly nothing at all. Then, when he was soaking wet, sometimes it never alarmed at all. From day one, it seemed my batteries didn't fit right and that the magnet pulled them from their contacts. I had to adjust the batteries every night and make sure I reset it to get it somewhat reliable but any slight movement jarred the batteries from their contacts and against the magnet. Maybe it was because I used rechargeables, so they didn't fit the same as alkaline, but I didn't think there was a size difference between the two. Anyway, I had mailed it back to PottyMD for fixing, but they returned with no change saying it worked consistently. It still didn't. Then, my son accidentally ripped it off his clothing and it fell into the toilet, so eventually it rusted on the inside and we had to get a new one. I went with the Rodger Clippo this time and am much happier. It is much more durable, consistent and has many fewer "sweat alarms". Overall though, with the alarms I've seen marked improvement with my son getting up to use the bathroom, so I would highly recommend an alarm, just not the Wet Stop 3. |

Comments: The first thing I noticed was a defect in the battery chaimber, the batteries both go the same way, and one is the opposite of how it normally goes (with the positive end going into the spring and not the flat) Which makes it hard for a young boy to remember. Also, we have to take the batteries out to reset it. It takes for-EVER to get it to turn off by holding in the button, and after it goes off, if we dont remove, then re-insert the batteries, it doesnt work. It will also go off when my son first puts it on, with no urine present. I realize it was the most in-expensive one that you carry.....but [$] is still alot for an insufficient product. |
