Comments:

Not sure whether this product will suit my 4 year old daughter the way I hoped it would. The face of the watch is massive for a 4 year old to wear, it is almost larger than my husbands face to his watch(I was told though by the manufacture that this is because of the vibration mechanizim is the watch). I do like the quiet vibration this watch distributes, you child will not be the center of embarasment in the classroom when the watch instructs them that it is time to "void". The watch band itself is VERY large also, we took out all the links we could and the watch still does not fit our daughters arm(we are looking to find someone to put a smaller size band on(no luck so far)). I do believe once our daughter can start wearing this product it will serve its purpose but it is a inconvenience to buy a product like this in which you need immediate use of and have this many delays. Not sure how to rate this item, more of a personal preference. Overall okay.

Good reminder but not a great band

3.0

PROS

  • Nice and quiet
  • Good Reminder

CONS

  • Band doesn't last
  • Too big for child's wrist

BEST USES

Comments:

My son wears it to school to remind him to empty his bladder on a regular basis. When he chooses to abide by the alarm, it is helpful. The band is a bit awkward for his small wrist (he is 7), and I think this makes him less excited about wearing it. The material also started wearing off of the band after only a couple of weeks of wearing it.

Works But Not Very Durable

3.0

PROS

  • Easy for Child to Adjust
  • Adjustable Band
  • Lots of Alarms

CONS

  • Watch face scratches easy
  • Watch face not durable

BEST USES

  • Bathroom reminders

Comments:

Setting the times and alarms isn't hard, but not intuitive. Once you set it, if you need to change it, you will need a reminder on how to do and will have to read the instructions again. But I wouldn't let that deter me from buying it. I like that I can set multiple alarms at set times, not just at intervals, so I can work the alarms around my child's school schedule. The watch face is not very durable. My child had the watch face scratched within a week just from recess play. I was very surprised that a watch geared for a child did not have a more durable face. I would not have purchased this watch if I had known.

  • How easy it is to program

CONS

  • The wrist band is too big

BEST USES

  • During the day as reminde

Comments:

My son wears it during the day to gently remind him to go to the bathroom. It works wonders for him and for me. I don't have to monitor him so closely anymore he is responsible for himself and he loves it!

LOVE this watch!

PROS

  • Good Value
  • Durable
  • High Quality

CONS

BEST USES

  • Countdown timer

Comments:

My daughter is now almost 13 and still has problems wetting herself during the day and night. We have tried EVERYTHING! Nothing has worked for her for more than a week or two. We bought this watch and she has not had an accident during the day in 4 weeks now. She is now dry at night because she is eliminating properly during the day. Her pediatric urologist is seeing a differance as well. I wish I had bought this years sooner. The count down timer is a little difficult to figure out at first, but once you set it you never have to touch it again and the watch vibrates so the other kids at school have no idea that it's not a regular watch and they do not know when the watch vibrates to let her know to go to the bathroom. At first I thought the price was a little steep for a kids watch but for what it's done for her I would pay it all over again without a second thought.

Too much watch for kids under 8...

2.0

PROS

  • High Quality
  • Durable
  • Good Value

CONS

  • For kids too hi-tech
  • Screen is hard to read
  • Too many options

BEST USES

Comments:

This is an excellent concept just executed poorly. Ideally for kids that require simple reminders the concept works however the watch has way too many options and switching from beep to vibrate is too difficult for a 7 yr old to execute however, just putting it on switches it from vibrate to beep!!! unfortunately this is an expense that is sitting in the drawer!!

It's alright...

3.0

PROS

  • Durable

CONS

  • Expensive

BEST USES

  • For day time wetters
  • For motivated kids only

Comments:

We found it somewhat complicated to get going. So many settings... Once set up, it worked well, vibrating every hour to remind our son to use the washroom. However, after a few weeks, he got so used to the vibrating that he began to 'ignore' the vibrating. Eventually, he stopped wearing it because it didn't work for him. I feel that for children that are very motivated to stop wetting, this may work. However, for kids that don't really care, it's a waste of money.

Since bedwetting is common in boys yo to the age of 12, the adjustable band should be longer for the growing boys.
