CONS BEST USES Comments: This is the easiest alarm to use--for both parent and child. Our daughter is able to handle the whole situation herself and has seen success with this product, moving toward dryness. We were concerned with several things when choosing an alarm: it working and it being the "best" value for the money. Of course, we thought the more expensive, the better. In this case, this simple alarm does the job. It works with disposable diapers if underwear are worn beneath. We also had concerns when we got the alarm because it seemed to be cheap plastic. However, it has proven very durable if cared for properly and without abuse. It is a lot better than it seems at first look. It is comfortable for our daughter to wear, as well. This was a big concern, of course. If you are considering an alarm, this small, simple, durable, useful and effective alarm is the one! |

BEST USES Comments: I've used this alarm for both my kids, and its lasted for more than 2 years now. So despite the high initial price, I've been able to use it for both kids and feel I've more than gotten my money's worth. The only difficulty is attaching it to their underwear. Trying to pinch the appropriate amount of cloth and get it inserted into the clip is a bit tricky. You get the hang of it after a while, but it takes practice. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: My 6 year old twins have had wet (more like soaking wet) nights every single night since they were born. (Seriously... not a single dry night) We started them both on the alarm - which they were more excited about than I ever imagined - about 5 weeks ago. We followed directions and recommendations in the corresponding book very closely and prepared for months of interrupted sleep. They both went from 3 times wetting per night (each!) down to completely dry during this time... actually they have both been dry for over 1.5 weeks already (one of them for over 2 weeks). My major test before getting them off of the alarm is hearing them get up in the wee hours to go to the bathroom by themselves. I believe this is abnormally fast, but I thought it was going to be impossible and they are miraculously DRY! These are worth the investment. Long Live Behaviorist Theory. |

BEST USES Comments: My son is 10 and has been wetting the bed for years. We bought this in the attempt to really try to help him but it doesn't wake him up at all. He continues to wet and I really wanted this to work for him but my other son stopped wetting finally at the age of 13 so I guess I will just continue to live with it for the next three years.... |

BEST USES Comments: I always assumed my son would out grow the bedwetting thing. However, as time went on and he never improved I could see it affect his self esteem. This product trained my son to wake up and go to the bathroom in about a months time. We were thrilled! It came with a great guide on how to use the product and what to expect. The only thing I didn't like was the price. We spend [$]for something that is only used for a month. But the results have been great! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: It has taken our son about 3 1/2 months but he is FINALLY staying dry at night. It really has worked and he felt inspired to get up at night and take care of business by himself if the alarm went off. He is 7 yrs. old. and has been struggling with this for so long! It works!!! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: We used this alarm for my 9 year old son. The first couple weeks were a little rough getting up with him but after 60 days he was going completely dry. We used it in conjunction with a baby alarm (his bedroom is downstairs, ours up) and that worked very well. |

BEST USES Comments: This alarm is easy to use, works well, and has been effective in helping my son to stop bed-wetting. I wish that the alarm was louder. I sometimes had difficulty waking up to it in my room across the hall from him. I also wish that the clip was easier to clean. Overall, we were pleased with it. |

PROS
CONS
BEST USES Comments: Product works as advertised, so I have no complaint there. We use 3 of the relatively expensive batteries every couple of weeks, so it's not cheap to run. We're still waiting and hoping for the desired behavioral modification. Our son is a VERY deep sleeper. Some nights he is getting up by himself, some nights with help from his alarm, and some nights he sleeps through the alarm until we wake him up. |

CONS
BEST USES Comments: Some of the tones are too repetitive and my son sleeps right through them. Other tones are variable and will wake him up. Unfortunately I don't know what tone is coming next, so some times he wakes up and some times he does not. |

BEST USES
Comments: We used this product with my six 1/2 year old son. He had only had a handful of dry nights in his life. He's a heavy sleeper and would wet the bed (in pull-ups) and continue sleeping through the night. The alarm worked GREAT for us. We started October 16 and during the 2nd week, he was "dry all night" and has been dry ever since. We used the alarm for 6 weeks. During the 2nd & 3rd weeks, the alarm would go off for a drop of urine in his pants, but he was not wetting the bed anymore. As of today, December 16, he's still dry at night. We don't use the alarm anymore. He does not get up to use the bathroom. He just sleeps all night. I think the alarm is great because it worked well for us. The alarm is pretty loud, but that isn't a negative, since YOU and your chid both need to hear it and wake up to it. The safety pin was a bit difficult to use at first. But that was the only negative I experienced with the product. I suppose the price could be considered a negative. It's a bit pricey. I figured that at around [$] it was 5 months worth of pull-ups...but if this worked, I'd never need to buy pull-ups again! Using the alarm is a process you go through with your child, so be prepared to get up at night with him/her. I am so pleased and my son is so PROUD of himself. He's "dry all night" because of the Malem alarm. Thanks. |

BEST USES Comments: The best thing about the product is that it worked within a week! Dry nights in a week! The alarm noise is perfect since it motivated our son to get up before it went off (he didn't like the noise) and pee in the potty. Then soon, he wasn't even waking in the night; just sleeping through with a dry bed. |
