Comments: I had a couple of concerns when looking at this product online. My first concern was would my daughter be able to sleep comfortably with a clip on her underclothes as well as the alarm clipped on her elsewhere. The other concern I had was would the thing wake her up if she got to sleep. Neither of those were a problem for her at all. We had been to the Dr to make sure there were no medical issues and he suggested this product. It works and works well. My only complaint is the amount of email I get offering other products from them. Since I bought this alarm, I don't need any more bedwetting products, so the emails trying to sell me more stuff can stop. My daughter is so excited about going to camp and sleep overs now because she doesn't have to worry about the humiliation of a pull up or a wet bed. She was 10 years old and we were getting really tired of cleaning up after her and buying products that were just going in the trash. This alarm was the best thing ever for all involved. |

Comments: This product helped my 5 year-old get out of nighttime Pull-Ups (which he hated) in about 3 months. We saw immediate results with accidents here and there over the next couple of months. You have to really make sure the underwear fabric is clamped tightly or else it will fall out, causing the alarm to go off. This is a great product which does what it's supposed to. But, be warned, you WILL need to wake up, get your child to the bathroom, change damp/wet undies and reattach the alarm (this takes all of 5 minutes). The alarm is a little awkward at first but my son quickly got used to getting "hooked up" before bed. Well worth it and worth the money. |

Comments: This product worked quickly. My 6 year old wet the bed every night. After three weeks she was no longer wetting the bed. I was skeptical that an alarm would all of a sudden make her stop wetting the bed...but it did. I wish I had bought it when she was 3 or 4 years old. |

Comments: I never fill out on line surveys, but this really is a great product. I used it with my son (5). It really scared him the first few nights, but we needed to break the cycle of him sleeping so deep that he wet his bed. After about three weeks, we noticed a huge difference! Now he wakes up when he has to go to the bathroom instead of sleeping and wetting his bed. We should have purchased this product sooner. It really helped my son!!! |

PROS CONS
BEST USES Comments: Hi, about 3 weeks after we received this product it broke. It would just start going off all by itself (so annoying) and then it wouldn't shut off. We finally had to put under a few pillows because it was so loud and coulnd't get the alarm to stop. At first my 5yr old son was excited to use it because he wanted to stop wetting the bed, but after a few tries with it, he found the sound so annoying to him that he refused to wear it again. This product clearly is not for him, which I don't fault the product, however, I am super, super disappointed that we paid [$], which I think is pricey, for a product that broke shortly after purchasing. Thanks, Heather Granger [@] |

CONS BEST USES Comments: I purchased this alarm in July for my 7 year old son. It was recommended by my sons urologist. After a week of using it there was something wrong with the sensor and when I called customer service they were very helpful and she shipped me a new one within a few days. After that we had no problems. The alarm is loud and my son woke up immediately...the first 2 weeks he woke up to it but he was in a daze so he did start to have an accident but after a month he would get up immediately and walk to the bathroom by himself...and then reset the alarm and go back to bed all by himself... I couldnt believe that after 1 month he stopped using it! Definately and amazing product! Well worth the price and the money I have saved in buying pull ups! My son is happy and finally can have sleepovers with his friends without feeling embarrassed.. thank you! |

Comments: I put off getting an alarm for my 6 year old son because I thought anytime now he would outgrow his bed wetting problems. With no luck and tired of buying pull-ups, I finally agreed with my pediatrician and bought this alarm. In less than 2 weeks he was getting up on his own to go to the bathroom. And now, 6 months later he still wakes up dry every morning. I am convinced that without an alarm he would be still waking up wet. The alarm helps train the brain to wake up in time to go. I am so happy this product worked for my son. And, the price is worth it especially if you are spending the money on pull ups. Now, it is money in the bank!! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: I am not one to write reviews, but after our experience, the Malem Alarm deserves more than a review! Our 10 year-old daughter was dry all night until she began taking oral anti-fungals when she was 5; not sure what happened, but bedwetting began again. We eventually went from Pull-Ups (expensive!) to using heavy duty maxi pads. I don't know if pads would work for boys the same way, but the pads were more discreet and way less expensive. After trying multiple "wake" alarms, restricting food & fluid intake in the evenings, rubber pants, etc. we decided it was time to try something else. Our pediatrician had mentioned bedwetting alarms over the past few years, but didn't provide specifics. After a pretty exhaustive internet search, we decided on the Malem multiple-tone alarm. The 1st night was 10/2/11 & she was dry; she said she didn't get much sleep because she was afraid of the alarm going off (we "previewed" the tones & went over the proceure of what to do when the alarm went off); the 2nd night was slightly wet; The 3rd night was dry; the 4th & 5th nights were between slightly ? the 6th night was 10/8/11 and she was dry. SHE HAS BEEN DRY EVER SINCE! Because the alarm is sensitive it goes off with limited moisture and we never had to change sheets. We didn't have any false alarms, either. We stopped using the alarm on 10/27/11 after 3 weeks of no wetting. It's made our house less stressful. She was finally able to have an impromptu sleepover with her cousins last weekend & she was dry there, too! It's simply a miracle! If you have any reservations, please put them aside and give this alarm a try. Also, search for online promo codes or coupons~We found one that saved us $5. |

Comments: Our son is six feet tall. We waited for him to outgrow his bedwetting as did others in our family. When we finally made the decision to see a doctor, he recommended the alarm. Unfortunately, our son can only connect the device to the front of his shirt because the connecting wire isn't long enough to reach his upper chest/shoulder area. Because of this, the device gets wet and malfuntions. Now we're out [$] and have an alarm that doesn't work. |

BEST USES Comments: My 10 year old son is so proud of himself now that he doesn't wet the bed. He still has an accident every now and then but for the most part he is "cured" of a very embarrassing problem. He has said it goes off sometimes because he sweats a little at night but rarely at all happens. I just wish I would have gotten this a whole lot sooner. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: After many years of wet sheets and frustration, we got this alarm when my son turned 10 years old. From the first night, he woke up when the alarm went off, something I thought would never happen. After a month or so he started to wake up even before the alarm went off. Not once did I have to change the sheets in the middle of the night. We used it for 3 1/2 months, probably longer than we even needed to. One night recently my son told me he didn't need it anymore, and we have been completely dry since. I really can't believe the results. Before this, we had tried waking him up and walking him into the bathroom, cutting back water consumption, and setting the clock-radio to wake him, but nothing worked until this. I can't recommend this product enough. |
