This is an awesome product. We have been using it for our almost 6 year old daughter. She was very excited about using this and is very proud of the progress she has made and it was so quick. She had 5 small accidents; in which the alarm woke her up, the first week with one major accident that first week. Second week showed a dramatic decrease in accidents and each week has gotten less and less. She is now almost through the 5th week and has been dry 9 days in a row. She didn't have 9 dry nights total in the previous year. So this has been wonderful. I would suggest buying the waterproof pad for the bed as well, it is great. and works much better than any other waterproof pads we already had. I am so glad that we bought this and would recommend it to anyone. well worth the cost. Pays for its self when you look at how much pull ups are. Planning on using this for our other daughter when our older one is done.

This product worked faster than we imagined. After the first night our son was stopping his potty as soon as the alarm went off. Within a week he was handling it on his own and within three weeks he was waking up before he had to go! After years of frustration, our son is potty trained!

I wish we had bought this product years ago! After three weeks of use, our son has stopped wetting his bed. I cannot describe how much his self confidence has been raised due to this product. He is now ready for sleep overs and camp this summer. I would recommend this product without any hesitation.

I bought the alarm because I have 2 kids who are using potty alarms. I already had the rodger's alarm and needed a different sounding alarm. I probably would not buy the Malem alarm again because the piece that attaches to the underwear is plastic and I worry about it breaking(though it hasn't yet) I do like the alarm because I don't have to buy special underwear for it. it also has a 2-step shutoff system that is useful as well.

My 6 year old had never had a dry night. After 1 week of wet nights (sometimes twice per night), she started having consecutive dry nights. After 2.5 weeks, she has been consistently dry and now we are on week 7. Just stopped using the alarm this week and no wetting!! I LOVE this item.

We are on week 6 and we have had great progress. The loud alarm sound has allowed for my son to stop wetting the bed but he still has not been quite able to totally controll his bedwetting. We have had some totally dry nights and some slightly wet ones. Only one really wet one in 6 weeks which is great...has help us become stress free at bedtime.

Our son was such a heavy sleeper we were worried he would never wake up. Two weeks into using the Malem, most nights he wakes up himself when he has to go. In a couple more weeks we think he will be over his bedwetting problem!

I used this for my 9 year old after we exhausted all efforts including prescription medication which only worked temporarily. We made fast progress and we watched my son's self esteem blossom. Finally, he could go to sleep-overs without that familiar "crunching" sound of good nites. Wished we would have tried this first. He's now 16 and has always told me how this was a lifesaver...Give it a try. What have you got to lose except maybe a bedwetting problem!

I got this alarm about 2 weeks ago...Not so good so far. I'm constantly replacing the batteries which is a real blow considering how much you pay for the alarm itself. Then after replacing the batteries so much the alarms don't even sound like they used to the first night. My son is still wetting the bed and I am still washing sheets because the batteries like to die in the middle of the night! So therefore, not much improvement on having a dry night. Maybe, just maybe it will work eventually...Guess I'll have to wait and see...Very disappointed though considering the money I put out for it.

We decided to purchase this product for our 6 yr old boy when we got tired of cleaning the bedding every night. We took him to the doctor first to make sure nothing medically was wrong and the doctor recommended using an alarm. Our son is a very heavy sleeper. The alarm worked great for 1 week. After the first set of batteries died, we were replacing the batteries every week! The alarm sounds also were not as loud after the first week. We are so far on 1 week with no bedwetting. My son is happy and so are we. It took approximately a month of use.

I have waited to write this comment because I didn't want to jinx myself. I am absolutely amazed by the Malem alarm. Our 5 year old is a VERY deep sleeper. She was tired of wearing pull ups to bed and I was tired of buying them. I would wake up mulitple times in the night to take her to the bathroom and she would still wet the bed. Within a month of wearing the alarm she was trained. The first week wasn't very fun. The alarm is a little scary at first, but she got used to it quickly. I slept next to her bed for that first week so I could turn the alarm off quickly. It was reassuring to both of us. She hasn't wet the bed in 4 months. She is able to have sleepovers and is more confident that ever.
