My son is almost 6 and has loved this product! He has not had a "wet" night since using it. The alarm goes off and alerts him to stop. I love that there are several sounds b/c he doesn't respond to one of them. His self-confidence has grown so much since he's not waking up drenched every morning. And my laundry detergent consumption has greatly decreased! I kick myself for not getting this for him sooner.

We purchased the Malem Ultimate and it was money well spent. Just starting using it for our 7 year old and he was waking himself up to pee within the first week of use. He had been sleeping in pull ups for 4 1/2 years and wetting at least 2 times per night. We tried another alarm which vibrated only but it didn't wake him up. This one woke him up reliably with a small amt of pee in the bed the first 2 nights, wet underwear only the next 3 nights, and now he is waking himself up before the alarm goes off every night. We are amazed. It is a little cumbersome to sleep with the alarm pinned to his shoulder and sometimes the underwear clip will slip off which causes the alarm to go off which is annoying. He has just figured out how to put it on himself - I had to do it for the first 2 weeks. Overall we are overjoyed to be done with pull-ups and never thought it would work so quickly!!

It has been six weeks since I ordered a Malem Alarm. So far, my daughter had only two accidents in the first two weeks. She has been dry all night for four weeks. She is eight years old and used to wetting her bed almost daily. I wish I knew this product and had ordered it earlier. Thanks to the person who designed it.

My 8 yr old son was rarely ever dry before we bought and started using the alarm. He loved the camo colored alarm and all the intriguing sounds that came with it. He eagerly wanted to work with it and jumped up immediately and ran to the bathroom every time the alarm sounded. After four weeks of following all the directions, he was completely dry every night. Thank you, Malem, for such a great product!

WOW is all I can say. We are truely happy how well this alarm has worked. My daughter is 7 years old and was still wet every night. We had taken her to a specialist and nothing medically was wrong with her. For some reason she was not able to hold her bladder at night. My husband and I tried waking her up throughout the night with no success. We were really becoming discouraged. Finally after much consideration, we ordered an alarm. We were hesitant at first due to the price and the loud noise it makes. We were concerned it may scare her instead of help her. But after 5 days we started seeing results. After 2 weeks of getting up throughout the night I am proud to say she is completely dry. It has been 4 weeks now and she has not had any accidents. For anyone parent who is considering buying this product PLEASE do not wait like we did. I wish we would have purchased it a long time ago. The alarm has given my daughter so much confidence and she is very proud of herself. And for us that is the best feeling in the world.

Our 7 year old son had been wetting the bed every night. He is a deep sleeper and wouldn't wake up when he had to go to the bathroom. For the first two weeks he would sleep through the alarm and I would have to go in and wake him up. But then, he became more sensitive to the noise and started getting up by himself. After three weeks he started going the whole night without any accidents. It's been six weeks now and he has been dry nearly every night. I was skeptical this product would truly work as quickly as it did, but it managed to trigger something in his body and now he is so proud of himself. He comes in every morning with a smile on his face to tell me he is dry.

This alarm worked great for my 11.5 year old son. After years of consistently wet nights (deep sleeper, wet every night, half the time wetting through a 'night-time diaper'), we decided to try an alarm (red, 1 tone). The first week didn't show a lot of progress, but by week two, he was only setting the alarm off once during the night and getting up and going to the bathroom. And after the first couple of nights, he was able to put on the alarm himself. By week three, he was staying dry all night without getting up at all. He stopped wearing the alarm, and four months later he has had only one accident. This alarm is worth the cost…and we only had to change batteries once, when we slept through the alarm one night during the first week. (You do need to keep bedroom doors open so that you can help get them up when you hear the alarm.) When I purchased this alarm and read the reviews, I only saw one other review for a child my son's age and was worried it might not work. But my experience has been that he just needed a little nudge to help him stay dry through the night, and this alarm has done it! I would recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to the Malem Alarm.

This alarm worked like a charm for my 5-year-old boy. Followed the instructions in the book, and in 1 month he was dry every night. He had a relapse after being sick and when we used the alarm again, we pinned it to his pants (he wasn't wearing a shirt). BIG MISTAKE! The alarm box got saturated when he wet, and the alarm malfunctioned. So I am ordering a new one... but why wouldn't you make an enuresis alarm waterproof???

My son is 8 and has had a problem waking up wet on and off since he was out of diapers. If seemed to have gotten worse where he was wetting the sheets a couple times a week. I spoke to the doctor and she recommended an alarm. The problem is that he can not turn it off by himself and the whole family is awake by the time it is turned off. We were exhausted. The alarm did work well, but with school started we decided to give him a break. He has been doing well on his own.

The bed alarm worked wonders for my 8 year old son! Our battle began when he was 2. Nothing...and I mean absolutely nothing...had worked until I broke down and purchased the alarm. It was amazing that in just 6 weeks he was only wetting the bed once or twice a week! Now it's 2 months later and without the alarm he has only wet once this month (slightly-maybe 1/2 an ounce). That is amazing!! His confidence level has greatly improved. Thank God there is a product out there like this. My only regret is not trying the alarm sooner.

we used this alarm in combination with a diet adjustment and medication prescribed by our pediatrician. it works well, however it didn't get our son to wake up enough to actually stop urinating. he would empty his bladder in bed, then get up and try to go in the toilet. also, the batteries that came with it ran out in a week and there is no way to know the batteries are out until it's too late (the bed was soaked and the alarm was going off, but really softly). All of this considered, the alarm did what it was supposed to, in combination with diet and meds.

My son is a heavy sleeper and slept right through this alarm! At first I thought I had a defective unit because come morning, the batteries were almost dead and the alarm was barely audible. The BWS was very helpful and sent it to the lab to be thoroughly checked out; I only had to pay shipping. The unit checked out fine but couldn't be exchanged for a different unit or refunded since it was ok and had been used. I ended up buying a super sensitive baby monitor instead of buying a new alarm so that I could hear the alarm from my room and rush in to wake up my son. He's doing great now. We're only a week and a half into the second try so it's still too early to tell if it's going to work, but he's been dry 6 nights in a row now! If I had to do it over, I might have picked a unit that used normal batteries instead of watch batteries but that's not so much of an issue now that I'm not having to replace them every night.

This product was wonderful and worked as instructed. My daughter went from wetting during the day and wetting the bed to staying dry all day and all night in just weeks. Be prepared to get little sleep first week and deal with cranky child, but it worked perfectly. My only complaint would be that the manual was a bit hard to understand and product was easily destroyed by my tough 5 1/2 year old, but we just ordered another one. It is wonderful to be able to sleep through the night and to not constantly have to do laundry.

This product was easy to use - even my 6-1/2 year old could clip it on without any help - as well as wake up to the alarm immediately and turn it off himself! We saw results more quickly than we anticipated - at 4 weeks he was "pee free" all night and has continued to be that way since! We are very happy with the results!

The Malem bedwetting alarm has been very effective in getting our 7-year-old heavy sleeper out of pull-ups overnight. Before we had the alarm, Our attempts to get him up at night to go to the bathroom were unsuccessful and created a antagonistic situation between my son and me. With the alarm, it helped put the control of the situation in my son's hands rather than mine, which made all the difference. It has taken about six weeks, with the first three being the toughest, but who knows how long it would have taken without it! Our son is very proud of himself and it has helped his self-esteem and confidence. I would recommend this alarm to anyone whose kid sleeps very soundly and who is ready to work on it.
