We bought this product for our son. He had a betwetting problem until he was 11. He was embarassed by his problem. He couldn't go to sleepovers. We bought him his alarm and we started seeing results immediatly. He had wet the bed every night before the alarm and then he would only wet once or twice a week. By the 6th week with the alarm he never wet at all. He doesn't need it anymore and we are all thrilled. He goes to sleepovers now and next summer he is going to sleepaway camp. This product works!!

I decided to purchase this product as a last resort. My daughter was turning 8 and showing no signs of being able to make it through the night without pull-ups. After doing some research and reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and we couldn't be happier! It took her two and 1/2 weeks of using the alarm to be completely dry. She has not had an accident since we stopped using the alarm about a month ago. My only regret is that we did not try this product earlier.

We used the alarm after my 6 y.o. daughter was showing no signs of sleeping thru the night and staying dry. It came highly recommended from my friend who had successfully used it on her 11 year old son, and had recommended it to several others who had also had success. We followed the process closely, and the book was a great guide. The first week I slept with my daughter and lost some sleep in the process, but it was SO worth it. It took us in total about 12 weeks, but we have not had a single incident since and she is SO proud that her body has learned how to stay dry. Her confidence and smiling face was so so worth it. I would highly recommend this to anyone. We started right after her 6th birthday. It really works.

This worked wonders on my 9 years old son. We were told by a doctor to try this but it took us 2 years before we ordered it. It only took 2 weeks before he was having dry nights. Wish we had done this sooner. Give it a try it will pay for itself in diapers in no time.

Our son is 10 years old and also has Type I diabetes. He has always wet the bed and we were beginning to despair that he would not grow out of this for several more years. A friend of ours who had wet the bed until he was 13 told us that his parents had tried alarms and that they didn't work for him - that was a further discouragement. He has been wearing pull-ups for years, but would often completely fill them, and soak his sheets. Being wet didn't seem to bother him much. My son is a very heavy sleeper and even when we got him up during the night to use the washroom, even as late as 5 AM, often he would still wet the bed after that. So, it was with low expectations that we decided to try the Malem Ultimate. My son was interested in using and was cooperative - I think that's an important component. The first night, he got up himself (a fairly rare occurance) and went to the washroom without the alarm having gone off. He went back to bed and was dry in the morning. A promising start! The second night, the alarm went off, and it woke everybody up (his bedroom is down the hall with the door closed, but it still woke me up). We changed him and he went back to bed, staying dry the rest of the night. Over the next two weeks, he had only two more times where the alarm went off, and both times it caught it before he was too wet. He has now been dry every night for over 5 weeks! This product, for our son, was absolutely the best decision we've made for his betwetting, which is looking to be (finally) a thing of the past!

I liked everything about the machine itself, but someone needs to design a more heavy duty, quality cord. A child often wakes up in a daze and rips the cord free improperly. A few times of that and it's broken. Now I can't use the machine and must buy another cord - 3rd time.

It took about 5 weeks for a 100% no bedwetting streak. It just worked. My boy is 7 and had NEVER had a dry night before we used this. After we started using this we had a dry night After about 3 weeks. It takes 100% dedication, it sucks waking up 2+ a night at first but the results are 100% worth it. It is now week 11 and have been dry for 6 weeks we gave up the Malem long ago....

We use the product for our 11-year old daughter who has a history of urinary tract problems and bedwetting issues. She's a sound sleeper, and other alarms we've tried haven't been as effective at reliably waking her up. The combination of sound and vibration with this alarm gets the job done. The only potential downside is that the sound and vibration are strong enough to be somewhat startling to her (which admittedly is the point). However, this has caused her to sometimes take the alarm off after we leave the room, defeating the purpose. We need to be somewhat vigilant about rechecking her before we retire to ensure that she still has it on once she's fallen asleep.

My daughter is six years old and has never had a significant period of nighttime dryness. I was frustrated not knowing when to wake my daughter for an overnight potty break and exactly how to help her. The alarm has been great. Using is is helping her achieve more and more dry nights. It has helped her take ownership starting with picking out the color--hot pink/purple and her job is to attach it to her pajamas and underwear every night. After using it several months she has learned her body's signals and most of the time wakes herself up when she needs to use the potty. She has even slept through the night without needing to wake and use the potty. On those nights I am so grateful that I did not have to wake her unnecessarily because she really needs her sleep. We are very glad we bought this product.

Used by my son to stop bed wetting. If unit gets wet the alarm won't shut off. How can a pee alarm break if it gets wet!!! As far as I'm concerned it doesn't work. Product wax replaced once and now I am looking for a different alarm.

Well made, durable. Easy to operate, my 11 year old can set it up himself at night. We have been using the alarm for about 2 months and are very close to consistent dry nights. The alarm worked better than expected, worth the cost.
