I used this alarm for my 9 year old daughter who has never been night trained. She is a HEAVY sleeper, and would never wake for any reason through the night. The alarm sounds with the slightest drop of wetness, making it easy to catch the accident far before it gets to the point of having to change clothes (just underwear) or bedding The greatest thing about this product for us was that by following the instructions given, it worked exactly the way it was supposed to, thus giving my child tremendous confidence in herself. We used the alarm consistently for 2 months. The alarm has only sounded twice in the last 3 weeks for slight wetness... meaning she has had all other nights completely dry. Considering she went from wearing goodnights and soaked them every night to wearing underwear and never wetting the bed... we are thrilled!

My son was 11 years old and still had night wetting issues. He did not want to wear the night wetting pants anymore and the medicine the doctor prescribed did not work. He was having accidents almost every single night and this was becoming very difficult for him to deal with. I purchased this product about 6 months ago after he woke up crying. My son is the most sound sleeper I have ever known, even when I would wake him up at night to go the bathroom, he would not know, nor remember that he did. I bought the Malem ULTIMATE, in hopes that it would wake him up. Oh it did! After his first night or two on the alarm, he realized what was happening and slowly started waking up. His progress was great, some nights were totally dry, and some just slightly, but as soon as the alarm would go off, he was awake and new he had to go to the bathroom. The progress chart is for 12 weeks, and I was able to stop after about 8 weeks. Thank you for this wonderful invention, it worked wonders for my son, I would recommend this to anyone who has children learning to wake-up and go to the bathroom on their own.

It worked as promised. No problems with clips or malfunctions, didn't even need to change the battery. An important thing to note is that instant success is just not going to happen. If you are considering an alarm you're probably frustrated and anxious for it to work, but really this needs to be used over time and it really does work. Make sure your child knows that too. Be encouraging at every point. At first my 7 year old completely slept through the alarm (yes he's an insanely heavy sleeper). Then after a while he woke up but wasn't quite making it, then after a while he was catching it. Before I knew it he was up taking care of things in the middle of the night without me even knowing it. Overall it took about 6 weeks and he has zero problems. He rarely wakes up in the middle of the night anymore even. In the few months we have gone without needing it he has had only one accident.

I wasn't sure if this would work for my 11yr old and after a month of use, I really didn't think it would. However, he hasn't had an accident in about 3 weeks now and has been using the alarm for about 4 months now. He tells me that he doesn't like the noise and doesn't want to hear it go off, and that is why he doesn't have so many accidents anymore. Sounds good to me. When it does go off, he has a hard time shutting it off because he can't fully wake up to know what he is doing. I don't like that I can't hear it from my room two doors down. I'm not in the market for a baby monitor just to hear the alarm. Overall, it has been doing great for him. It has been two weeks since he has worn it, and he hasn't had an accident.

My 7 year old never had bladder control at night. His pediatrician recommended this for him. first week he was up 2 times per night after 10 days he was completely dry. Its been months now with no accidents.was loud enough to wake him and hes a deep sleeper. Easy for him to use also.

My almost 7 year old son and his father were very committed to using this product. My son learned how to put it on and used it consistently. Prior to the alarm he never had a dry night. The first few weeks he wet several times a night. We stuck with it, and 3 months later we are using the alarm every other night and the only nights it goes off are when we challenge him with an extra drink. He is barely wet however. We are thrilled!

We bought this bedwetting alarm on a recommendation from a friend for our almost 7 year old son, who rarely had a dry night. He really wanted to be dry at night, and was unhappy that his 3 yr old sister had been in undies at night for some time. I ordered it, borrowed some books from the library, and started hoping. The books cautioned me that it would likely take around twelve weeks before he would be dry. Imagine my surprise and delight...he was dry in around two weeks! Now many months later, and not a single accident! Worth every penny for us, especially what I'm saving since I don't have to buy disposable pants anymore either. My advice to parents purchasing this alarm - clip it to their undies, then put the disposable pants (pull ups, good nights, etc.) over that to minimize mess.

The very first night we chose to use the vibrate AND the sound option together. It woke her in the middle of the night, as expected, but the next night (and thereafter) she decided to only use the vibrate function. The sound was quite jolting for her. It only took about 2 weeks before she was regularly making it through the night so we stopped using it. When she had 2 wet nights in a row, we started using it again and it only took a couple of days to get her back on track. Total success. If we hadn't discovered this product (thanks to our pediatrician), she would not be planning a sleepover party for her 8th birthday next month!! We are thrilled with the outcome.
