My child, 11 years old, is the deepest sleeper in the world combined with producing huge amounts of urine at night. At 115 lbs., the "Goodnights" were embarrassing and nearing the end of their use since he is so big. We've tried the medication from the urologist (highest dose) with no relief. We didn't want to try an alarm for years because it just didn't sound like it would work. Finally out of desperation, as he could not attend youth church camps, etc., we decided to try this one with the combined vibration, sounds, and lights. It took 2 months, but he is now "cured". I truly didn't think it would happen. We didn't have a baby monitor so he was on his own to wake up and fix his own problems with changing clothes, etc. It might have gone faster if we had woken up with him, but I think it's better that it was him having to learn to wake up and do it himself. I highly recommend this to anyone who just doesn't see an end in sight to the bedwetting nightmare. The best money we ever spent!

Our 9 year old is completely dry after only 4 weeks. We had tried everything, including other alarms. After only 2 weeks, our daughter was able to turn off the alarm, change, re-attach it and go back to sleep all on her own. She is so proud of herself (as are we!) and is having sleepovers now. Deep sleeper, 9 years old. Prior alarm quit working, wasn't really loud enough, and the "watch" batteries didn't last and were expensive. This loud, vibrating alarm awakens our child every time, this is a big deal. It is disheartening for everyone getting-up at those 'deep sleep hours of night' to a very wet bed because the alarm was too quite to awaken us immediately. Our prior alarm was probably only 40% effective at awakening child or parent...so big improvement there! Wetting is happening about once a week now. We were having only one or two dry nights per week. Also, the wetting is minimal now, and we use an absorbent pad, so not changing the entire bed at night like before. Using rewards system, favorite candy for dry nights too. Making progress.

My daughter was consistently dry in under two weeks. Amazing product! She complains that the device is uncomfortable, which may be why she was so motivated to stop wetting, but admits that it was worth the discomfort.

Effective for bedwetters - very loud sounds that wake up bed wetter. Vibration triggers child to get out of bed too. Wish its construction was more sturdy - not cheap plastic. The programming of the alarm is very fiddly - that's when I broke the battery compartment - still works but not pleased with its construction.

My pediatrician had said not to worry until the twins were 7, but my 4 year-old girl twin had been day-time trained for over a year and my 4 year-old boy twin for 8 months. But neither had ever had a dry night in their pull-up type night-time underwear/diapers. Many times they would wet through anyway, and so there were a lot of changed sheets, and the cost of the overnight diapers x 2 was too much. I had tried buying large reward toys that they picked out - I said they could have them once they had 3 dry nights. Still, never a dry night, and they were getting disappointed in themselves. So then my friend lent me this alarm. I told my son how her now 8 1/2 year old son used it when he was 7, and my son really wanted to wear it. He only wore it for 3 nights & wet each night. He wanted to go back to the nighttime diapers, and I thought maybe he was just too young, and I didn't want to push him. Then my daughter wanted to try it. She wore it for 7 nights, wetting each night. She also then went back to nighttime diapers. Then somehow, miraculously, they were both staying dry all night starting at 10 days after we first got the alarm on Jan. 12th! After a few seemingly dry nights in the nighttime diapers, we switched to regular underwear for both. It is now Feb. 13th, and they have both been dry since Jan. 22nd! I know this site seems to recommend not using it until they are 5, and then it talks about using it for at least 30 days, but I wanted others to see that it has worked for us this way. Maybe it was easier to train them since they were younger and hadn't been in the habit of going during the night as long as older kids? I just think the alarm helped them to connect their brain to their bladder. I just kept telling them if they heard the alarm, that meant their brain should tell their bladder to "Stop the pee-pee!" and "Go to the toilet!". Good luck to all!

We bought this for our 8 year old who is a very heavy sleeper. After one week of use she had no more accidents at night. It is an investment but when you compare it to the price of pull ups month after month it is definitely worth it.

We used this for my 9 year old daughter and are now starting it with my 6 year old son. My daughter had been struggling with bed wetting for years. She wet the bed every single night and was a very sound sleeper. We used to wake her to go to the bathroom, but didn't always catch her in time. From the time we started using the alarm it took exactly 10 weeks. We didn't get discouraged because of the great emails we kept getting from the Bedwettingstore.com. The first few weeks there was no progress and the alarm wouldn't even wake her up...she never remembered us waking her either. But, after about 4 weeks and a LOT of laundry, we started to see progress...and then she just stopped wetting the bed. We are thrilled and so is she. Should have bought this sooner!!!

I heard good things and figured I would give it a shot as my son was 8 and was still wetting the bed ofetn even after I would get him up once per night about 2 hours after he went to sleep. We started using the alarm and not waking him up to go and he would wet pretty much every night. But as time went on, he started to wake up and go on his own and be dry in the morning. After about a month, he was totally dry. Again, I was skeptical cause he was such a deep sleeper.. but this seemed to make him conscience about it and he would wake up and go. 3 months later, he has probably only had <6 accidents. But overall great product, it did its thing and my son is now confident!

I am so grateful to have found this product. It has truly changed nighttime into a much happier experience for my whole family. My son, who is 8, used the alarm for two weeks and immediately saw results and has had no relapses. My other son, who is 6, used the alarm for about 6 weeks before we saw complete dryness. It was a more strained process but with the same results. No accidents! We are over one month strong for my youngest. I wish I had only purchased it sooner. I do want to stress this is a commitment both the child and the parents have to make. I was up every night for weeks with my youngest, waking him up, cleaning up, and reattacking the alarm. All well worth it! (Although, I was no so wiling to praise the alarm in the middle of the night ;)

My seven year old was a sound sleeper. I had my reservations since she didn't even wake up to the alarm for a week and I had to shake her to rouse her. However, it worked in only three weeks. She was dry one night and has been dry ever since. My four year old was so excited that she insisted she get to wear it. It took her about four weeks, but she too is dry and happy.

My 5 1/2 year old son has been wetting the bed almost every night for years. He had been wearing absorbant training pants overnight while we hoped he would outgrow the bedwetting, but he would often urinate so much that the absorbant pants weren't able to contain it, and he would wake up in a soaked bed. This resulted in much laundry. We were very reluctant to spend the money on this product, but I felt like we had tried everything else (ie. offering incentives to stay dry, waking him up to go, limiting fluids before bed) without success. Our son was initially a little embarrased about having to wear an alarm, but once he realized how much it was helping him overcome an embarrassing problem he became thankful for it. The clip-on sensor is exceptionally sensitive so that it the alarm sounds at the first small spot of urine on the underpants to immediately wake him. He is a very deep sleeper, but the combination of sound/vibration gets him up every time. It's loud enough that I can hear it from our bedroom so I can get up to help him get to the bathroom. He's been using it for 11 wks, and he has been consistently dry for the past 9 wks. We even began to see dramatic improvement in the first week. We are in disbelief that this worked so well! He now only wears it every other night, and we will soon transition to wearing it less and less. We highly recommend this product!!!

Our son rarely had a dry night in his life. Last summer he managed to stay dry for 9 days in a row! I thought we were on to something. Unfortunately, that ended at 9 days and he went back to being overly soaking wet every night. It was starting to weigh on him and I could tell he was really wanting to figure out how to stay dry at night. He is a pretty deep sleeper and had sleep apnea until his tonsils/adenoids were removed. After his surgery he stayed dry again for a week and a half only to have it fly out the window. He was so disappointed! I finally decided after speaking with his pediatrician that we would try the alarm after our son was motivated to use it. The first week was rough, he was up 4 our of 7 nights. I layered the sheets to help cut down the time we spent awake at night. The next week was a bit better though he was still up a few nights. The next 5-6 weeks it only got better and better!
