CONS BEST USES Comments: This product helped my 8 year old 100% within 3 weeks. He is a very deep sleeper. I would suggest this to any parent looking to help their child with bedwetting. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Very easy to use...the only thing that worked. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: I bought this alarm for my six year old son. He would wet his bed every night. He was tired of wearing pull-ups and was becoming embarrassed even around his family. He is a heavy sleeper and never woke up when he was wet. This alarm was a life-saver for us! It took about 6 weeks for my son to be completely trained during the night! Wow, we couldn't be more pleased! I would highly recommend this product to anyone! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We bought the Malen for our son, was a little sceptical, as your never quite sure if product comments are made up. From the start we made it a family thing, we let our son choose it, and when it arrived explained how it worked, and encouraged our son to take responsibility for putting it on each night, this he did perfectly. At the start we were getting woke up nearly every night, then we went through stages of being dry for a week, wet for a week, and at one point we wondered if we would ever turn that corner... we did, it total it took about 4 month's, and our son has just come back from camp a happy child. Don't be put off, it doesn't happen over night, but if you put the effort in things happen. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: This worked great for our 9 year old son. It took about 4-5 weeks of using it religiously. After the first couple of days he was able to hook-up and unhook the monitor with ease himself. I had to get up with him a few times in the first weeks with a few accidents but then they were often so small he would wake up and realize he needed to go right away. Many nights he would get up with the alarm and just have a tiny accident that he could simply change underwear and get back to bed. By the third week he was dry the majority of the time. We stopped using it after 6 weeks and in the last 6 months he has only had one accident. My only suggestion would be more extensive directions, explanations, diagrams on how to hook it up, stop the alarm, etc. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: Cured a 10 year old's bed wetting in less than 3 weeks! |
|
PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My six year-old son had only a handful of dry nights. The first 2-3 weeks of using the alarm were rough! I felt like I had a newborn baby waking up for feedings again! However, just as the product describes, the alarm went off fewer times each night and by week 4-5, my son was completely dry and remains so to this day. One suggestion which made night time much easier was to put underwear on and hook the alarm to them, and then we covered them both with a disposable pull-up. So, the only thing that was wet were the underwear! |

BEST USES Comments: The alarm did not work for our son, however we know it can be successful in some cases. We hadn't given up until it broke recently with just routine use. He was still wet multiple times a night and would sleep through the alarm. |

BEST USES Comments: It didn't work as quickly for us as for others- it took a couple of months, but we finally got there. The trick is to have your child near enough for a parent to hear it and get up to help every time. My nine-year-old just couldn't wake up at first. But after he had two straight weeks dry, he hasn't had a single accident. Hooray! |

BEST USES Comments: After 15 years of bedwetting every night, our son was dry within a few months -- we wish we had learned of this method years earlier. In the beginning you need to help make sure your child gets up when the alarm goes off. This is where we had a little problem because it was not loud enough for us to hear unless we used a baby monitor in his room. We liked that the clip on method is an immediate response to the child wetting. We also liked that it was compact, lightweight and easy to use. Our son chose the Selectable model because he wanted to make sure he didn't get too used to one sound, but that didn't seem to be a problem, although there were certain sounds that seemed to wake him better than others. Overall we were very pleased with the Malem Ultimate bedwetting alarm. |

Comments: My son is ten years old and we've been trying different methods diligently for two years, until that time, everyone was convinced he'd just mature physically and grow out of it. He didn't. We tried allowing him to wet the bed (with liners) but he would literally still sleep in wet bedding and never wake. We tried two other alarms that woke up everyone but him, and once he wet in the night, you could not reset them for the balance of the night. I can say with complete honesty that my son is now almost fully trained after 3 months. He showed tremendous improvement in a week. If your child is a very deep sleeper (which most bedwetters are), the vibration in addition to the variable sound is truly what makes the difference. In the beginning, my son was wetting twice a night, and the ability to simply reset this alarm for continued use has also been critical to his success. It only took about 1-2 weeks for him to reduce the wetting to once per night, then another week or so we started seeing multiple nights dry, etc. He is currently off the alarm entirely, except if he has a rare accident. For a period of time they suggest you put the alarm on again until you have a 2 week dry spell. I should add that the alarm compared to others, is durable and only requires minimal cleaning. As a mom, I am truly grateful for this product because my 10 year olds self esteem has been lifted! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: This product was amazing! You have to give it a few weeks to work, but it does! My child would sleep right through his accidents, but now he wakes up when he needs to use the bathroom. Whether or not he actually goes is another story, but the alarm did it's job by teaching him to wake up when he needs to go. |

BEST USES Comments: We started using the alarm when my daughter was six and was wetting almost every night. It took about a month, but she got down to about one incident a week. After two months she stopped using the alarm, and was fine for a while, but every now and then has relapses and we get her to wear it for a few weeks. Before we got the alarm, she would sleep through with wet sheets and quilt, and I would wake up each morning to lots of washing. She would wake up to chills and rashes. We are both happier now. The only issue has been the clip. The clear plastic telephone jack that snaps into the alarm breaks up and we are now on our third. I would still recommend them, but I wish the company would source a more robust clip. |

PROS CONS
BEST USES Comments: It did not do as expected. It fell off at night. It went off only when totally wet. When it fell off--it did not go off as expected. It was unsuccessful with us. |
