PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: This product taught my son how to hold his bladder during the night. It took about three weeks of having accidents everynight, but eventially he would sleep the whole night without getting up and without having an accident. I did use this product with pull-ups for less mess and it seemed to work just fine. I would have liked to have the monitor be rechargable. The batteries seemed to wear out quick. |

BEST USES Comments: We bought the Malem alarm for our 8 year old son. He was very excited to use it, and is able to mostly set it up on his own (the clip is a little tricky for him to attach to his underwear, but no problem with adult help). At first he was sleeping through the alarm and we had to wake him, but after about 2 weeks he began to get up and switch off the alarm himself, before heading to the bathroom. There are a variety of alarm sounds and all work well for waking him. He still has wet nights, but the alarm is helping him work towards dry nights. The one problem we had at the beginning was that we accidentally drained the transmitter battery two days in a row. This is easy to do when it's not in use-- you have to make sure the clip is open, not closed! We probably would have avoided this problem, though, if I'd read the instructions carefully! |

BEST USES Comments: Were were sure our son, who is a heavy sleeper would not wake to the alarm. While he will sometimes still sleep through the alarm he as gone from wetting twice a night to having 9 out of 12 nights completely dry. We have no idea how it works but it is working and we are more than thrilled! |

Comments: This is a useful reminder for them to get up in the night. The alarm itself was not ready to use when we got it. After we figured out how to replace the batteries and re-pair the devices we got right to work. Our son was waking up on his own after wetting every night prior to the alarm. I feel the alarm made him more aware that we were working on it. After a little more than a week he has been dry for about 2 weeks. The matteress pads are very nice. We had a waterproof pad that fit like a sheet but these are much easier to layer and change out in the night. I have not yet read the book. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My son is 10 years and has struggled his whole life to wake up to the sensation of needing to go. He didn't like it probably more than us as his parents. He tried and tried. He loved the first week that he woke up to the alarm and just is a little wet. But we've had the alarm for just a month and he's been dry for 3 weeks!!! YAY!!! |

BEST USES Comments: My son wears the sensor on the front of his underwear and the cord just reaches around to his back. This is where he places it since he sleeps on his stomach and on his side. This makes wearing it at night more comfortable. He does wish the wire on the sensor was a little longer. I bought the MALEM WIRELESS which has been a good choice so far. We are in week four and I can say he is wetting once or twice a night now but is also able to stop the flow when the alarm sounds which is a major improvement. I guess I was praying for a quick fix and I wish we could sleep through the night but rarely do things come easy and this one is worth working toward. My son is 9 and his school is planning an overnight field trip to the zoo in April. He really wants to go and is motivated. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We have been using it for a month and the alarm has only sounded a handful of times and each time it has prevented an accident. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Not sure why it stopped working after 3 weeks. It did work well until that time, and my son liked using it. It woke him successfully, and he is a deep sleeper. Looking forward to resolving with the seller... |

Comments: Bed wetting runs in our family. We were told by the pediatrician not to bother, that it is heriditary and our children would be older when nightime trained. Our 6 1/2 year old son wanted to stop wearing nighttime pull ups. Even though he was soaked in the morning we decided to give the Malen Wireless Alarm a try. We opted for the wirless as we thought the wire would annoy him. After 3 months he is fully night time trained. We saw improvements after about 2 weeks. It does take a lot of effort and reinforcement on the parents. In the beginning we would need to wake him a few times during the night. We would go through weeks of dry to relapse a few nights. Overall, we are thrilled that he is trained before his 7th birthday. I can't wait to tell my pediatrician. THis alarm is definetly worth the investment. My only suggestion is to by the bed liners that tuck under the sheets. You will need them in the beginning. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: This worked great for my son. It's loud enough to wake him up and I can hear it too. First few nights I was very tired, however after one week my son was dry and now 3 months later he didn't have any accident I don't know how it works, but works!!! |

Comments: Used this for my 12 year old after trying everything else that didn't work including liste ening to the doctor that said he would grow out of it. The kit with the book and chart was great. It really did explain alot and the double voiding before bed is definitely the key! After about 2 weeks we could really see this was going to work. It took about 8 1/2 weeks and now my son has been dry for over a month. We are extremely grateful. My son has more confidence, we all get more sleep and I'm not washing everything on the bed daily. Almost his entire life, especially as he got older he was never dry at night. This product and the service from this site is incredible. I would recommend it to anyone. Don't believe that your child will grow out of it! It just gets worse. I wish I would have found this site sooner, I just didn't look because I listened to the doctor. It doesn't happen overnight, but stick with it, it is well worth it! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: We used the alarm with our 8 year old boy. We followed the book and instructions that came with the alarm. The one step that was cruicial for our son was 'double voiding.' We also liked that you could choose the type of sound you wanted the alarm to make. It is important that you use the chart that comes with the alarm. It helps you track your child's progress. The alarm would sound once a night for a couple weeks. Within 4 weeks he had made it through the night dry on a consistent basis. We followed the instructions on 2 weeks without the alarm sounding and then 2 weeks of wearing the alarm every other day. Now he is dry throughout the night. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We are so thrilled with this product. My 8 1/2 year old daughter was very reluctant to use an alarm, and also does not like any tags or other things on her clothes. We got the wireless alarm with the choice of sounds. She was happy to pick the sound, and the wireless monitor meant that she did not have any wires on her shirt while she slept. We had no problems at all with the unit and after 2 weeks of use she has been dry every night! She quickly learned to wake herself up to use the bathroom before the alarm went off. We are beyond thrilled as we had no dry nights for 8 1/2 years and now she is dry every night. She is very proud. We STRONGLY recommend this product, and wish we had not waited so long to try it. |

PROS
CONS BEST USES Comments: This product worked very well for us. It's been amazing the progress my daughter has made in just one month. It really does work! The only problem we had was when she had a particularly wet accident. After she changed her under ware the alarm would still go off. We realized that there was urine still caught in the alarm. So we had to thoroughly dry out the sensor to get it to stop. It has also left small rust spots on her under ware. Minor issues and should not stop you from using this product! |
