This really works great. My son is 12 and he really enjoying being dry. We had used this system a few years ago as well. With heavy use the underwear do need to be replaced, but that is a very small con.

My daughter just turned 9 and never had a dry night. Her "Good-Nights" were always soaked and frequently so was her bed. The doctor recommended a bed alarm and I let her pick the one out she wanted- which was this one. By the end of two weeks she was sleeping through the night- and was dry! It has now been 10 weeks, and there have been only 4 "accidents". However, no wet beds as the alarm wakes her up before the wetness gets past the underwear. She is so excited and proud of herself! The alarm comes with a chart letting the children document their progress each morning.

For my 9 year old son. Unfortunately he has not progressed. When the alarm goes off sometimes it wakes him up sometimes not. Even if he does wake up he is in a form of sleep like sleepwalking. He has no idea where he is or what's going on. The only benefit so far has been saving money on Pull-Ups which he wears over the underwear.

My 8 year old son was dry in 2 weeks. We tried other systems similar to this, but they were uncomfortable. This worked like a charm!!!

The Wet Stop Alarm worked for my son (age 7 at the time) in about 8 weeks. But for two years and with three different cords, it did not help my daughter (age 5-7). The cord kept falling out or she detatched it in some sort of sleep state. We were very discouraged and bought this system along with the bedshaker to give this one more concentrated effort. I don't know if at age 7.5 everything just clicked, or maybe it was the fact that there were no cord complications. Getting out of bed to turn off the alarm seemed to be the additional feature we needed. The bedshaker certainly did not hurt, either. Our daughter stayed dry after only about a week of use, and has been dry for nearly two months now!

Comments:

Instructions were very clear and this alarm is super easy to use. Just put on the undies and clip on the alarm. Be warned - the undies fit small. I ordered 1 size larger than my son measured and they fit perfectly. I'm glad I read other posts and ordered the bed shaker. Although the alarm is loud - it doesn't even come close to waking my sound sleeping son. We've used the product for almost 1 month now. I can't tell if the wetting is less frequent (as he was only an occasional wetter to begin with) but I can tell you that he only wets a drop or two before the alarm wakes him and he heads to the bathroom to empty the rest of his bladder. PJ's are dry, sheets are dry and he is back to bed and asleep in minutes getting a full nights rest. Even if we only ever progress this far - I am so happy for him and he is estactic as well. For Canadians, this product shipped in only 4 days to Canada the week before Christmas - outstanding! Wish there was a CDN supplier as I put off ordering this for months due to cost and having to order from the US. Don't hesitate - I wish we had ordered this years sooner - would have saved many sleepless nights and tears.

Comments:

We have tried two other alarms for our child who is now 12 without any real success. I think that was due to the fact that the other alarms had clip on sensors that were not always in the right spot when getting wet. The built in sensor on the underwear in this product really works. Our child gets up right away with minimal wetting. After one week we've already had some dry nights! Before this our child was wet every night.

Works! After a few times of the alarm going off my 7 year old son became more aware of when he had to go and started getting up in the night to go to the bathroom if he had to. It has taken about 5 weeks total to reach 14 nights in a row dry but he had many individual nights dry in between. I recommend it if your child is ready. Prior to using the alarm my son was very occasionally waking up dry in his pullup and was asking to wear underwear instead of a pullup--so he was motivated.

Never a dry night for my girl in 8.5 years. She's a deep sleeper and I had difficulty even waking her up to take her to the potty. We let her hear the alarm noises every couple of days and she finds them so unpleasent that each night she has either awoken when she had a tiny accident, or now mostly sleeps the whole night, not one major incident since we started. Wish i had tried earlier.

Comments:

We had tried setting two alarms, waking our child before we went to bed and/or when we woke during the night. We tried limiting fluids, making him empty his bladder twice before bedtime, everything! Nothing worked. Even when we got him up or he got up to an alarm during the night, he still woke up wet every morning. At 6 yrs old, the pediatrician was doubtful that a training alarm could work, but it has! After a month, he is starting to either sleep through without wetting or getting up to go on his own before the alarm is needed. He is so proud of himself and I am so thankful for this product! The pager unit stays in place and is small enough that he has never complained about being uncomfortable. The different alarm sounds and volume control helped us find one that did not startle him awake. The sensors are so sensitive that we rarely need to change the sheets even when it goes off because the system works so quickly. We purchased one extra pair of briefs because at the begining he needed to put on a dry pair during the night. Wonderful. Can't think of anything negative. We looked at others. This was well worth the expense.

The first week was hell...daughter was up several times a night. We decided to purchase 2 more pairs of panties. Within 2 weeks, daughter was sleeping through the night and now she has gone 2-weeks with complete success. Great product. Wish I knew about it a few years ago. Now everyone is happy. Don't hesitate to use this system. It works...ps- all I have to say is beep-beep-beep and child gets out of bed....

Comments:

We bought this for our 4 1/2 yr old daughter. She had a desire to stay dry at night, but just never got it done. She's a fairly heavy sleeper early in the night, but also didn't care enough to actually get up, even when she was awake. And she didn't mind being wet. This announces when she's going, which gives her the incentive she needs to get up. We're in our 5th week, and she's already dry far more often than not. Last week, she was dry 5 out of 7 nights! (She'd only been dry 3 nights altogether prior to this.) I'm amazed how quickly the alarm goes off. Rarely does her bed even get wet. She wakes up easily with it. And, if she decides to shut it off and go back to bed, it goes off again in a few minutes. It seems they thought of everything! We both love it! The briefs seem to run a bit small. I was worried they'd be too big, but they fit her perfectly. They're great quality, and are holding up great so far...no signs of wear yet. I have been machine washing and drying them. Great product! Highly recommend it. I only chose 4 stars instead of 5 because nothing's perfect...although I haven't found anything wrong yet!
