CONS BEST USES Comments: the instructions say to test alarm every night. and it's true. when we don't test before bedtime, the product does not always reliably work. so test test test. also be aware that the wireless alarms are NOT returnable once used. we did not know that before purchase. but we'll stick with them now that we have them and paid so much. there must be something better. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We purchased this alarm system for our 6 year old. Our pediatrician had told us about bedwetting alarms so I came home and researched them. I was very skeptical about spending so much money. However it was worth every penny! My son went from being wet EVERY night to dry EVERY night in just 2 weeks. Perhaps most won't see that kind of success that fast, but we did. I read the other reviews and went ahead and purchased the pants one size larger....a good idea. We also ordered one extra pants to make a total of three. My son is a very heavy sleeper so we also bought the bed shaker. Not sure how anyone could sleep thru that! I used a pullup over the underwear so that our time up in the middle of the night would be kept to a minimum. The pullup did not stop the alarm from going off with just a few drips. Make sure you wash the underwear before the first use. That first week I will say that we were both tired, but we remained consistant and now for the first time my son is wearing regular underwear to bed! I can't say enough about this system! I'm very grateful our doctor told us about wetting alarms because I had no idea such a thing existed, or that something like this would work so well for 'us'. A++++ |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The product fit my daughter great but it doesn't work. The alarm would go off all night long intermitantly for no reason. [...]. For the money, it's just not a good investment for us. |

Comments: Outstanding product. Our son was quite discouraged to be wetting the bed at age eight. Having used this alarm for a few weeks and making such progress, he is very hopeful about being able to go to slumber parties soon. The fact that he has to get out of bed to turn off the alarm really helps him. Also, we've found that wearing a pull-up over the alarmed briefs greatly reduced the laundry burden and the need to change clothes in the middle of the night. Our son wakes up to go the bathroom, but never fully wakes up or has trouble going back to sleep now. We were all much more tired when we were getting up multiple times a night to changes sheets and pjs. |

Comments: We had very good results right after first night use, but the briefs shrink a lot so my daughter cant wear them no more and I have to buy new and bigger ones for her. |

BEST USES Comments: Read other reviews and so I ordered 1 size larger. Child wears it each night without a fuss. After the first couple of times, she gets up by herself when the alarm sounds. She is a heavy sleeper, so really happy the alarm gets her up and out of bed. Still using it, but see a definite improvement in number of dry nights. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: For the most part this product works properly, except that the sensor wires don't come up high enough in the front. We remind our boy to make sure he is "pointed down," but most nights, he leaks a small amount of urine out of reach of the sensor wires. The alarm never goes off for this. But overall, we have seen improvement, and our boy has more confidence. |

Comments: My husband was skeptical and thought we had wasted $100+ on the alarmed underwear, but when our eight-year old son stopped bed wetting, my husband was a believer. We use the alarm with 8 different sounds and no vibration device. My son has autism, and we've tried other methods like getting him up at night to pee, and limiting liquids before bed. This underwear worked well for him, and I like that it is wireless. The 2 underwear that come standard were enough for us to use. After the first few nights, my son would still wet, but we only had to change underwear, not pjs and sheets. It's been about a month and a half, and in the past month we've had only one accident. Other reviewers are correct about the sizing. I ordered one size bigger than my son's regular underwear size, and that fit him perfectly. We haven't had any issues with reliability, and I have machine washed the underwear. I usually dry the underwear in the dryer for a few minutes, then hang dry. I don't know if this does anything, but I'm trying to make the underwear last to pass down to my 6 year old daughter. As others have commented, I wish we tried this sooner. |

Comments: I really thought that I had tried everything! I had restricted water/liquids before bedtime. I would wake my son 2-3 times a night. I used chuck pads to save me the work of washing sheets. After one month of using the Roger Alarm, my son has not wet his bed in two weeks!!! My son has Autism and the informational videos on the website helped him to understand how the system worked. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! We had a sleep-over and the fear of him being embarassed was gone!! |

Comments: My child is 13 years old and has always problem with bedwetting. We have tried everything. All meds, doctors, ultrasounds, not drinking after 6:00 pm (which is impossible when he has sports practices until 7:00 and 8:00!), diets, and alarms 2 different times. This product has made no change whatsoever in his problem. None of the alarms will wake him up. I even slept with him so I could wake him up when I heard it. My only hope at this point is that he will outgrow this condition once he goes through puberty. I don't know what else to do. I always have to make excuses when there are overnight parties because he can't go. I've spent over $1500 trying to help my child, nothing has helped. |

Comments: We used this to help my son stop his bedwetting. We did not know if it would work, but within a week he stopped. Had I known it would have worked so well, I would have purchased it sooner. Betting wetting was almost an every day problem for us and I hoped he would outgrow it. We could not do sleep overs and we were always afraid someone would find his overnight diapers. We used the underwear along with the bed shaker. My son is so confident that he has stopped and we no longer use the product. I am so glad we purchased the alarm and bed shaker and I am so happy for my son. |

Comments: I am still a little shocked at how quickly this product worked for my daughter. She is 5, and never had more than 1 dry night a week...usually not even 1 a month. We have used this product for just over a month, and she no longer needs to use them. The alarm has only gone off 3 times, and she now either makes it through the night dry, or wakes up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. As a family we are so proud of her, and thankful for such an easy solution to a problem that was becoming an issue for her. Thanks! |

Comments: My 10 year old daughter was VERY apprehensive about wearing the bed wetting alarm underpants. I also bought the vibrating mechanism. She wet the bed the first three nights. The first night she did not wake up quickly. Each night after that she woke up quicker. By the four night she woke up just as she started to wet the bed - only her PJ's were a little wet. By night six she woke up on her own when she had to go. She had two weeks wearing the undies with no accidnets so she stopped wearing them. It has been three weeks with out wearing the underpants and NO ACCIDENTS YET! She is so happy - and so am I! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The alarm does a very good job of going off at the slightest sign of wetness. The 8 selectable alarms are nice too. The briefs have lasted a couple years now and we are using them on our second child. The first child to use it (a boy) stopped wetting in a couple weeks. However, my daughter is a very heavy sleeper and the alarm does not get her up other than to shut it off or unplug it. We need to take her to the bathroom. So far she hasn't responded to the system after almost two years on and off. Some kids are different than others. One important point: Make sure the transmitter DOES NOT GO THROUGH THE WASHING MACHINE. Even though it is sealed and water resistant, it is not waterPROOF. You will end up getting a new unit, but call them to order to avoid paying for the whole system when all you need is a new transmitter/receiver. |
