Our son was 10 1/2 and had not ever been dry for more than 1 night at a time every few months. To make matters worse, he would leak through the pull-ups. He hated them and we hated the never ending laundry. We had tried getting him up, the pills, reward charts, etc. We had visited a pediatric urologist who told us he was "fine" and come back when he was 17 if it was still a problem. Needless to say this was not acceptable to us or our son. He was really feeling bad about it. The ultimate insult was when we~with him as part of the process~made the decision to pull him from a summer overnight sports camp. There was no way he could manage it for the week without risking being embarrassed. It was then we decided to try the alarm. The first week it went off once a night, the second week we had one or two nights it didn't go off...and then it was like the light turned on and he has been dry ever since. He is on day 21 without being wet or the alarm going off!. We are starting to ween off the alarm. He is so excited and proud to finally be dry and not have to worry about it! We wish we had tried this sooner!

This system was an absolute miracle for my 11 year old daughter who is the deepest sleeper I have ever seen!We thought nothing would work! We had tried many times to use the pills to concentrate her urine... never worked. We tried to use the other types of alarms, but it ended up that I was totally sleep deprived and she ended up basically sleep walking to the bathroom....We also tried to wake her up every 3 hours during the night but that did not work either. So, we decided to purchase the whole package and included the vibration device for under her pillow to MAKE SURE she would wake up. After trying many other methods, this one was the perfect recipe!! The first week was a bit rough for her (and me for a few nights listening to the alarm go off), but after about 6 days, she not only woke up and took herself to the bathroom, but I was no longer in the loop!! After 2 weeks, she was completely dry and got up on her OWN during the night for the next month. We had 1 night that she woke up at the same time as the alarm, but that was it! No more sheet or bed washing and no more leaking through those pull ups!I am AMAZED that this actually worked. She has been dry thoughout the summer and she finally has the confidence to have sleep overs and does not always put the pad under her bed sheets (it has been 4 months now). I realize that each child is different, but if your child is asking for more help, DO IT!!! I highly reccommend that you buy a third pair of underwear because in the beginning, they may wet their undies more than once during the night and it is a hassle to have to do the wash every day. For deep sleepers, the vibration accessory is a MUST. I am telling you that we can have the lights on, a train rolling by our home and 10 kids screaming in the same room, and our daughter will not wake up! This device somehow activated her brain to wake up only for peeing which is amazing. Take the chance, spend the money and you will not be disappointed!!

Bought this product for our 8 year old son and we are so happy! He went from wetting almost every night to totally dry nights within 6 weeks! He was a sound sleeper, so even though the alarm is loud - we needed to wake him up at the beginning. He thanks us all the time that we bought this for him.

We bought this system (alarm, underwear, book, mattress protectors, pillow shaker) at the recommendation of our pediatrician. Our 8 year old was still in sleep diapers every single night, and was never dry. Never. We tried medication, nothing to drink after dinnertime, and waking him throughout the night, hoping to "teach" him to wake on his own. He is a very, very heavy sleeper. We were told he might outgrow this "phase", but at age 9, we decided to be proactive, and despite the cost, we jumped in. In the beginning, my son would wet a lot (5 times a night), but I made him get up, turn off the alarm himself, and go to the bathroom to finish, if needed. I bought many of the pads and mattress protectors with tuck-in ends, and extra underwear (my son is husky, the underwear run on the tight side, buy extra: very useful). After just a few weeks, he learned to sleep through the night! It has been the answer to our prayers! It has been several months, and not a single accident. Thank you a thousand times over.....

At 4 yrs 8 mos my son was still wearing pull-ups at night. He'd have ocassional dry nights, but then a streak of wet nights. He's so big the pull-ups inevitably leaked anytime he went in the night. I wanted to try to train him to sleep without a pull-up, but I didn't want to be waking up with a soaked bed every night for weeks on end. So I went straight for the bedwetting alarm. First night, the alarm went off and he was soaked and we had to wake him. Repeat with second pair of undies. Next night, he still wet himself, but just barely (only about 1 tsp of urine), and the alarm woke him up and he went to the bathroom. No changing the sheets, just his undies. This went on for 2-3 weeks, but it sure beat getting up to change sheets because of a leaked pull-up. We added some incentives for him (iPad time), and literally overnight he was able to sleep all night without a drop of urine. A few nights he even got up to use the bathroom without wetting himself and went back to sleep. That was it! No more pull-ups. He had a bit of backsliding months later, but it was just the 1 tsp of urine in his undies, the alarm going off, and he would go to the bathroom. But mostly, he sleeps all night or gets up if he needs to. This is an amazing product and well worth the hefty price tag.

We were told he would eventually grow out of bedwetting....however by the time he hit 13 and we still couldn't find a permanent solution I finally got a referral for a urologist. He gave our son three options and of course because of his age he choose a medication, because there was no way he was wearing those underwear...Initially the medication worked very well, but as time went by I had to keep increasing them to the max dosage allowed and then we were right where we left off. So a year and a half later back at the urologists office he really impressed upon my child that this system will help retrain his brain to recognize his bladder is full and what did he have to lose by trying it....I could not get the system in Canada so I ordered it from the USA and was 80% reimbursed from our health insurer....and within 2 weeks he has it mastered and gets up on his own now and we have put the system away .... he has been dry 3 weeks and have had no wet nights. One of the things he discovered was he was actually wetting more than once a night at times...One reminder with this system is remove the transmitter pack from the underwear every morning as it drains the batteries dead...Very very happy and wish I would have done it years sooner, and with him being an older child he said it was no problem afterall... :)

As long as you understand that it really runs small you will not be disappointed. My ten-year-old is now dry. Every night. She used to be wet. Every night. We did everything the doctors told us, no liquids before bed, wake her every two hours (right!) she just slept too deeply. This took only a matter of weeks and she was able to use it/change it on her own. I cannot stress enough the happiness that has come from using this product. Because the alarm is right next to the body it goes off at the first drop of urine. I did not even need to change her sheets, just the underwear! It may seem like a waste to not use a product anymore after spending quite a bit of money on it, but that is kind of the point, right? It put itself out of a job! We are so happy to be done. The smiles on her face are worth every penny!

This product works as advertised. My son is almost 6, and has been wearing pull-ups for years. My husband wet the bed until he was 10, and his father before him, so I was pretty much resigned to waiting for him to "grow out of it", as my pediatrician advised me. However, my son started refusing to wear the pull-ups, and we tried getting rid of them for 3 weeks. We tried restricting fluids at night, cutting out dairy at dinner, lifting him from bed, etc. Often I would go in to check on him, and he was soaking wet and sleeping peacefully through it. I ordered the Rodger system, got an extra pair of underwear, and the vibrating shaker to help wake him up. Here is our experience:Week 1: The first few nights the alarm went off first around 11:30pm. The bed, sheets, covers, etc. were soaked. The alarm was blaring, the shaker was vibrating, and he was dead asleep. We had to shake him and call his name to get him up. He staggered to the bathroom, but was not able to finish peeing in the toilet. We repeated the process somewhere around 3:00am. At the end of the week, we were down to just the 3:00am alarm, and he was starting to respond more quickly to the alarm. Tired, doing a lot of laundry, worried that this won't work.Week 2:Dry night! Woo-hoo! nights 2 - 7, we mostly had only 1 alarm, and he jumped up right away and put most of his pee in the toilet. Week 3:Three dry nights this week. The other nights, there was so little pee, I didn't even have to change the sheets, just his underwear and pajamas.Week 4:3 dry nights. One of the alarm nights we had to get up 3 times. Is this gong to continue to improve, or is this the best we are going to see?Week 5:6 dry nights! My son is starting to get up on his own, before the alarm, and go to the potty in the middle of the night if he needs to.Week 6:Dry all week! Week 7:Dry all week!It is amazing, I am so proud of my boy, and he is proud of himself. We talked a lot about how his brain needed to learn to listen to the signals from…

Okay, so I admit I was pretty sceptacle about this product. Boy was I wrong! My son is 6 1/2 and had never had a dry night in his life. He is a very sound sleeper and would wet several times in the night. We started using the alarm with the vibrating device that we put under his pillow to help wake him up and we would get up three or four times a night with it. He would pretty much empty his whole bladder in the bed and would need a lot of help from me to get up and try to go to the bathroom. After a couple of weeks I was starting to get a little discouraged because we hadnt seen a lot of progress. I remember telling my husband how I wasnt sure if this was going to work for our son, but I was determined to stick with it. Then we started noticing that he wouldnt always completly empty his bladder in bed and would be able to go more in the toilet and we were getting up only once or twice a night. Before long there would only be just a tiny spot in his underwear before waking. Then it was like everything just clicked for him. One morning I woke up and my first thought was "his alarm must have a dead battery he didnt get up last night". He had woken before it went off and went to the bathroom on his own. He had one or two wet nights in the next week or so and now he has been dry for 2 months!! Now he just wakes up at night and goes to the bathroom. The whole process took 3-4 weeks. So get this product it is so worth it. Just be consistent and stick with it and it will work. We are so glad we tried it........no more pullups!!!

My daughter has struggled with wet nights (and even some dribbling during the day) so after nighttime pull-ups failed us because of their discomfort, we decided to spend the money on the alarm. What a lifesaver! My daughter has started to get her confidence back. No more leaks during the day and only an occassional alarm at night after 3 months. Highly recommend....

My 6 year old stopped wetting the bed in about 2 weeks after getting this product and hasn't had an accident or issue in over a month. GREAT product. She went from wearing pullups to going all night w/o waking up to go to the bathroom and being dry all night. The only thing we found that didn't work was the alarm would go off after we pushed the silence button and would scare my child half to death while going to the bathroom. We found that if the transmitter isn't properly and firmly attached, it goes haywire. Put it on the underpants where it looks like a smiley face with the 2 screws and the bend of the alarm. Hard to explain til you have one but once you see it, it will make sense. Get this alarm for your child. You won't regret it!

After two months of usage, my son (7 years old) stopped bedwetting. That's great! I see only 2 problems with this product - transmitter on the briefs can be uncomfortable and the alarm can turn on, when the weather is hot and kid simply sweating, not bedwetting.
