Our 9 yr old son rarely had a dry night (maybe 1/month if we were lucky). After reading the book, using the alarm and having the pads there to save me from so much laundry, we have been dry for 3 weeks and are starting our 4th tonight! My 8 year old was not able to keep dry at night. She is a very heavy sleeper. Within 2 weeks of using the alarm, she was going through the night being dry, although I did wake her right before I went to bed. After another two weeks, I stopped waking her and she still remains dry. Last night, she even got up on her own during the night to go to the bathroom without the alarm. This is a major milestone for us. The alarm works great! Wish I would have tried it sooner!! Highly recommended even for the heaviest of sleepers.

I never rate products but wanted to share how pleased we were with this device. At first my son thought it was scary to pin it on because the sound was upsetting, and it did ring right away at the first sign of wetness for the first several nights. But by the end of about 10 days, we did not hear the alarm ring again. His brain was retrained to wake up when he needed to go to the bathroom, and he got up and walked in there. It was pretty amazing that the habit of sleeping through the signal to go had been changed. We are talking about a very sound sleeping 7 year old. He is very happy with the results, and we are proud of his accomplishment. It's a winning situation. Our whole family recommends the investment in this product.

Worked because my daughter heard the alarm one time and never wanted to hear it again so what we thought was a huge problem(family history of medical issues) is finding out laziness(easy to potty in pull-up). She hasn't even needed the alarm since the one time. Just hooking it up keeps her dry!

This procuct worked very well for my son. After six days he was dry. He was a bit scared of the noise and vibration, so we just put it on vibration. This was enough to wake him. He started putting it on himself after the first week and had his first sleepover last night with a buddy. He is seven and a half years old. His confidence has soared. This product should be recommended before using medication.

I wish that I had gotten this alarm sooner. It really does work. I have a 8 year old boy who is a deep sleeper. It took a little over two weeks to see a GREAT improvment. On week three no accidents week four 1 accident at 1 am. It is amazing, the alarm did the trick. Not only am I happy but my son is too. He said just the other day, "now I can go on a sleep over." My son did not want to use the alarm at first. I showed him the video on line, that really helped him understand how it worked. I also had him help record his progress. I bought the multi alarm, that seemed to work well for him. If there is a con it woud be the saftey pin that is used to secure the alarm to the child's shirt is diffcult to open and close. I have stuck myself once already. That is the only reason that I gave the alarm a 4. As far as operation, reliablity, ease of use it scores a 5.

I have two bedwetters--a 10-year old boy and an 8-year old girl. When I discussed finding a solution for my son with my children's pediatrician last year, she gave me two options. One, she said, is a pill he can take at bedtime, and the other is an alarm, which will disrupt his sleep. I opted for the pill since I wasn't too happy with the thought of my son losing sleep. He took the pill for about a year, and although it helped lessen his urine production, it did not totally eliminate it. Then our health care insurance changed and the new one does not cover prescription. As I wasn't willing to pay $400 a month for these pills, I decided it was time to try the alarm. I found this website and read the reviews for this product. Although I was a little bit skeptical, especially since my son is a very deep sleeper, I purchased the starter kit. I wish I had done it sooner!!! My son started using the alarm at the beginning of winter break. After only two weeks of use, he stopped wetting his bed! This is the 5th week and he has been dry for 20 consecutive nights. He is now wearing the alarm every other night for the past 6 nights with no accident. He either wakes up to go to the bathroom or is able to hold his urine until the morning. We are so happy and can't wait until my daughter starts using the alarm. We are finally saying goodbye to pullups!

I wish we had tried this years ago! Our 10 year old son hasn't had an accident in over two weeks & he is so happy! He had a sleepover with a friend and for the first time wasn't worried about wetting his bed. It only took a few nights of the alarm going off before he started either waking on his own, or sleeping dry through the night. I would recommend this to everyone with children having this problem. I was skeptical about this at first but it is definitely working. I think your child needs to be positive about it though.
