This was really a great produt. It was easy to use for both us and my son. It took just a few short weeks and he was dry (and has been dry now for over 2 months) Use tghis when you can afford to loose some sleep, because you will. It is a bit expensive, but in the end it is the only tool that worked for us so it was worth it. And it built up my son's confidence.

My son had immediate success, and having a cool cammo design made it easy to get him to use it. I only wish there was an option to get a shorter cord- the long cord is a little unwieldy.

We used this on out 10 year old son who was still wetting the bed every night. He really didn't care that he was wetting the bed and that is why it was so hard to potty train him. At first my son was refusing to wear it, we still forced him and it was very hard for the first week. This process took us 2 months. He is no longer wearing the product and is no longer wetting the bed. We followed the directions to the letter. My son was scared for the alarm to go off so that made him try harder. Now that he doesn't have to wear it anymore he knows that if he wets the bed we will start the process over again. So he will get up to use the bathroom if need be in the middle of the night. I am very thankful for this product and wish I would have used it sooner.

used the product on my son. it didn't wake him or me up and i sleep across the hall. he would also be wet in the am and the alarm wouldn't be going off. sent the alarm back because i thought it should be louder. after we got it back-still had the same problems..couldn't hear it and wouldn't go off. i put it back on the shelf, we are not using it, and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

worked for about a week then she just got used to the sound/vibration and it no longer woke her up. Alarm wasnt very loud and I had to keep replacing the battery every other night.

When I told my 8 1/2 year old son about an alarm that could help him learn how to be dry at night, he begged me to order it ASAP because he "felt sorry for himself" that he couldn't stay dry at night. He had never had more than 1 day a month where he was dry, and sleepovers were carefully managed to avoid embarrassment. He asked for the camo unit, and I let him pick his own alarm sound (with vibration). He hung up his chart and kept track every day – he was very driven to get dry at night, and understood that it could take a few weeks. He learned how to hook up the alarm & attach the clip in just the right spot himself on the first night & took care of it himself after that. The first week he was wet each night 1 or 2 times, but he (and I) did wake up to the alarm. He woke up more quickly each night. I provided moral support as he walked himself to the bathroom to take care of things - we kept a stack of clean clothes there to make it quick & simple. I triple-stacked the bed with 3 protectors so it was easy to change the bed. The second week he was wet only 1 night, but then the third week it was 3 nights for some reason. Then, all of a sudden, he was dry the entire fourth week (not even a little wet). He wore the unit for a few weeks after that, just to be sure, but he hasn't wet the bed since - it has been 3 months now. On a side note, I have no idea how, but he went from waking up soaking wet in the middle of the night to not having to wake up during the night at all to urinate (how did the alarm teach him that?!) This was such a positive experience for him, and I feel so grateful that this alarm kit was available to help him get there. We did not have any issues with the alarm, but I changed the batteries immediately upon receiving it, based on past reviews. I would recommend this alarm in an instant.

My son got dry in a week and a half. Then he continued to wear the alarm for 14 days (which is what the book suggested) and he has been dry for over a month already. It was perfect timing because he really wanted to get out of pull-ups and he is 6 years old.

We've been using the Malem Ultimate for 3 1/2 months now and still haven't hit 10 consecutive dry nights. I am extremely happy though, that my son has had no problem wearing the alarm every night and it is waking him (mostly) and keeping his bed dry. We do occasionally have to change his pants or underpants, but at least I'm not buying pull-ups or changing sheets. The variable settings did not work for us since some of the settings were not loud enough to wake my son. So, we just set it on the loudest one only. Also, in the beginning it helped to use a baby monitor so I could hear and react to the alarm quickly. Now, he reacts on his own, but it is disconcerting to still be going on with it.

We followed the directions to the T, and unfortunately this product didn't help our son to stop bedwetting. We gave it the full 12 weeks and decided to take a month off and try it again.

I only wish we'd done this sooner. While it took about 2.5 months to achieve total nighttime dryness, in that time we only had *one* wet night. All the other times, the alarm woke our child so quickly that we only had to change her undies and not the sheets! The audio alarm plus the vibration is a great combination for waking up heavy sleepers. The fact that it comes in different colors is good too--letting our child pick out the color helped get her on board with the plan. Now our 4-year-old can't wait to use it too. :) The book that comes with the starter pack is very helpful too, and I've recommended it to a number of friends who are pediatricians, child psychologists, etc. so that they can tell other parents about it. This alarm isn't cheap, but when you think about the cost of nighttime Pullups and/or all the extra laundry, it's definitely worth it.

The kit is a great idea. All you need in one purchase. The only issue I had was the mattress pad did not stay secured as my son is a restless sleeper. I tried pinning it to the sheets but he just broke open the pins. I am not sure the one with wings would work any better so I just washed sheets and mattress cover. It was not a lot of work because the alarm helped him completely stop wetting within a couple of weeks. The alarm was a blessing. My son is dry now every morning. Wished I had done this 2 years ago. It really works.

Alarm doesn't sound until child has completely wet herself and the bed. Maybe the consistent waking will be effective in the longterm.

didn't have a chance to troubleshoot why it didn't go off and it frustrated my son - so we are taking a break and starting it again fresh. I hope it is not a defective product.

I bought this to help my daughter. She was resistant to it at first because she thought that it was going to be uncomfortable for her to sleep in. However, after that first night, she discovered that she didn't even notice it. She has consistently woken up in time to prevent herself from having an accident. It's definitely helped to alleviate some of the stress, embarrassment, and discouragement our family was facing. We love this alarm and highly recommend it!

My 7 year old eagerly wanted to stop wetting the bed. This device gave him the confidence he needed. From day one he stopped wetting the bed, it was amazing. Just follow the guide, and your kid will do the rest.
