Comments: This product was very easy to use. By attaching to your childs undergarment at night, the alarm would make noise and vibrate at the slightest hint of wetness. We used this product for 2 months and our 5 year old son is now dry at night without any accidents. We wish we had been told about this product sooner. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The alarm gave my son exactly the extra push he needed. He was wetting between 3 and 5 times a week, but as soon as we started using the alarm he went down to zero or once a week. It has been about 8 weeks, and he has now started to wake himself up to use the bathroom in the night. We are still waiting for the holy grail of 14 dry nights in a row, but the improvement was immediate and we are very happy with the purchase. The only down side is that the safety pin that fastens the alarm to his shoulder makes holes in his pajamas. We had trouble getting him to put on the alarm at first, but we solved that by using the progress chart in the back of the book. He'll do a lot for a check mark! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: We bought this on the advice of our pediatrician and it worked perfectly. Took about a month and then she told us she didn't want to wear it anymore and only had 2 accidents in 3 months. When buying it, buy the pads for the beds, they work very well. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: I am absolutely in awe of this product! Our oldest - male 5 1/2 - was day trained at 3 but had less than 10 dry nights over the last 2 1/2 years. Limiting liquids, waking him after bed...nothing worked. He is such a deep sleeper and his father had issues with bedwetting when he was young also. His ped gave us the standard "he'll grow out of it"...unfortunately the only thing he grew out of was the absorbency of the pullups as he was wetting so much each night it was literally wetting through to his PJs and sheets and I was having to change them almost daily. I originally went online looking for info on a nasal spray I'd heard about and stumbled on this. Unlike drug therapy this sounded like it continued to work even after discontinuing. Ordered it along with the book 10 Steps to Nighttime Dryness and followed the advice exactly...except for the age, since he wasn't yet 6. Had him sleep in underwear, used a waterproof pad over his sheets, and a monitor in his room to hear the alarm. The first night he was a little groggy but did wake the 2 times it went off. The next he was out of the bed before I got in there. By night 5 he was waking on his own! At first I thought it was the "honeymoon period" the author describes but he has gone 14 days straight - incredible! We are now in the every other night phase and I have confidence the success will continue. Thank you for such a wonderful product - I'm glad we didn't wait! One piece of advice: teach your child ahead of time how to turn off the alarm and practice it several times so they are comfortable doing it on their own. I assumed my little guy would not wake up with it for at least a week so I didn't bother to do this. When he did wake the second night and was unable to turn it off before I got into his room it scared him a little. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Our now 10 year old started wetting the bed at the age of 8 every night. Her doctor said it wasn't uncommon but gave us the information about the bedwetting store. I thought no way will I spend that kind of money for this. Well two years later I spent that money and it was the best investment we ever made. I only wish I had done it two years earlier because we spent so much money on pull ups for two years. We did buy two pads and I am thankful we did because when they wet in the middle of the night you just replace the pad with the second one. She slept on our floor for the first few weeks (she sleeps in a high loft bed normally). She was nervous and the first couple of nights we had to wake her because she didn't hear the noise, which showed us what a heavy sleeper she was. Within 5-6 weeks she was completely off the beeper and has never wet since. It was truly AMAZING how good it worked. She was so proud of herself too!!! We loved it!! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We have a 10 year old boy who was still in a pull up every night ($$$). He has maybe had 2 dry nights ever! He seems to sleep right through his urinating with out ever waking up. We tried making a big deal of it, not even acknowledging it, waking him up during the night, no drinks after dinner... nothing helped. When our son started voicing concern we knew it was time to look into other options. The medication just scared me then his Dr. just happened to mention trying an alarm. So I started researching. I think I read every review there was and bit the bullet and bought the Malem Ultimate 1 Range (selectable combination alarm, 10 alarms in 1). I figured just in case my son freaked out at one alarm sound, we had options with this one (he never did and we never changed it from the factory setting). He was very excited to start and we talked about the fact it could take awhile to help. He was concerned about stopping the alarm and waking the family up so we set up his bed in our room so I could easily and quickly help (he was also closer to a bathroom that way). The alarm sounded 1 to 2 times a night. Usually once and really close to the same time each night no matter what. Amazingly, it does stop them from continuing so they can get to the bathroom and finish. He would change his underpants (we keep a supply on the back of the toilet) and then we would reconnect the alarm and he would go back to sleep. A couple times we must not have put the clip in the right place and he did wet the bed before the alarm sounded, but that was not very often. I would highly recommend two or more LARGE washable waterproof mattress protectors for this. The 2 we got in our "package" are not big enough. They are the width of a twin but easily move around and get out of the needed areas. We started around October, he wanted to take a break during the holidays especially when we had guests staying. Note:doing this during warm weather would be optimal so they can just be in underpants and… |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: This alarm is amazing. My 6 year old son had NEVER had a dry night in his life. His diaper was always full to the brim. We started using this alarm about 3 months ago. Slowly he started showing improvement. After 2 months he was accident free. We have not used the alarm at all for over a month now and he has been totally dry. He even gets up on his own during the night to go to the bathroom. This alarm has changed his life forever. He is so much happier going to bed with no diaper. Let the sleepovers begin:) |

CONS BEST USES Comments: My son was able to use it all by himself, I think we waited far too long to try this. We used pullups and goodnights that didn't help solve the problem. He was 11 and still wetting. He was so happy with this alarm and now has been able to stop using it and has been dry for over a month. It really has improved his self esteem, and he pointed out that with pull ups and good nights they go into the landfills and with this alarm it was a more "green" way to approach this problem and actually solve it. He may actually get to go to sleepovers now! It was worth every penny! |

Comments: This device is useful because it has 2 options: sound and vibration. It wakes a heavy sleeper up but doesn't interfere with anyone else's sleep. Our sleeper attaches it betweeen his t-shirt and pj top near his shoulder and it works well with the vibration of the device on the undewear to wake him up and allow him to get up and finish going to the bathroom without wetting the bed. |

BEST USES Comments: Our son was leaking out of overnight pullups every night at 7 years old, and all the usual advice hadn't worked (no drinks after 6, wake up to void when we go to bed, etc.). He was very excited to try the system and eager to be dry, got discouraged along the way but stuck with it, and he was dry in less than 8 weeks. We found the sensor clip a little tricky to attach to his underwear, just getting enough fabric in to hold securely and attaching it where it would get wet with the very first drops of urine. We worked out to attach it from inside and snaked the wire up the back of his pajamas. THANK YOU Malem, you are a lifesaver. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: Our daughter was 7 years old when we started using this alarm and has always been a very deep sleeper. We had been taking her to the bathroom before we went to bed (a few hours after her bedtime)for months, though we don't know if she woke up for it. Although most nights she was dry in the morning, she would have weeks of accidents every night, sometimes multiple times. She just never seemed to get to the point where she would wake up when she had to go. For the first week with the alarm, we kept up with taking her to the potty before we went to bed. But she was staying dry, which we felt was not giving the alarm a chance to train her brain. So then we decided to stop taking her ourselves. She had 2 wet nights. But she DID wake up from the alarm - I wasn't sure she would. And she did stop the flow, because it wasn't nearly as wet as normal. I think the vibrating was the key for her more than the particular sound. We had the sound set for random - I figured, keep her brain guessing! Choosing which sound you want was not particularly user-friendly (not a quick easy thing to do) but at least it can be done if one sound works better than another for your child. The volume was enough for her, but often didn't wake ME very quickly. Our room was across the hall, but I am a deep sleeper too. After those 2 set nights, we had a couple damp nights, and then from then on, pretty much dry. We had a few damp nights again a few weeks later. But I don't think we had any more really wet ones. (Can't find the chart to check). We kept up with it for the fully recommended time though (12 weeks, I think). She loved the sticker chart and has been dry since. I know our quick results are not typical, but we are thrilled to be done with pull-ups and wet beds!! |

BEST USES Comments: all i can say is it really works. my little guy was overflowing pullups EVERY night. he would literally fall asleep standing up if we tried to get him out of his bed to urinate. our pediatrician had flyers for the bedwettingstore.com, which in turn recommended this product. the malem worked AND FAST -- less than 2 weeks of wetting and then dry for 30 consecutive. 2 months later he had a relapse so we have hooked him back up. working again. the kit was useful -- book has better tracking charts than the malem comes with. |

BEST USES Comments: My son is 8 and has had trouble staying dry for as long as I can remember. Waking him up at night wasn't working. Limiting drinks at night wasn't helping. Nothing was working. Within a week of using the alarm system, he was dry more than half the week. Within these first three weeks, he's been mostly dry, in fact the last week, he's been dry every night. He can now hold it until the morning, and is almost finished with the alarm. We waited until after the holidays to start, so it's only been 25 days and he's almost ready to graduate from using the alarm. I am so proud of him, and so thankful to this product. |
