BEST USES Comments: Our 7 year old son was afraid to have sleep overs. He would wet the bed nightly. He was discouraged and hated to wear pull-ups. We would limit drinks before bed, wake him on the night to take him to the toilet. Our doctor said that he would "out grow" bedwetting. I found the bed alarm on line and ordered that very day. My son was so excited. We read the book and followed the recommendations. Within 5 days he was able to get up use the bathroom and reset the alarm, He is so proud of himself. |

Comments: My Laila had just turned 7 in December and was bedwetting every single night. I decided it was time to stop buying pull-ups. I purchased the Ultimate bedwetting alarm starter kit. The first couple of nights it was a little scary for Laila with the vibrating and sound. I changed the setting to sound only. The alarm would go off every night 2 or 3 times for the first two-three weeks. Then slowly just one. Now Laila wakes up without the alarm going off to go potty. It is a relief for both her and I. I would definately recommend this to any parent going through this situation! |

Comments: Extremely efficient. Worked in less than a week on vibrate only (alarm noise scared the child as well as awakened rest of household). Easy for child to participate in setting it up every night. CON - clip for underwear is uncomfortable. Had to wear on leg opening of underwear, however, still yielded results. |

BEST USES Comments: I use the alarms for my twin boys who share a bedroom. They are 7 years old and have had only intermittent dry nights over the past 2-3 years. I purchased different sounding alarms let me know who to help in the dark. The alarms do not seem to wake or annoy the brother in the next bed, I am sure the vibration component is important! Sometimes the alarms do not wake my boys fully, but usually enough for them to stop urinating. The boys occasionally complain about the alarm flopping on the shoulder or the wire against the skin/neck, but they fall asleep pretty quickly despite this! We have been using the alarms for about a month, and each boy has had success in a full week's dryness and after the first two weeks, only wet/damp underwear and pajamas. No more wet bed sheets! I am confident within another few months, we will have total success. We are looking forward to slumber parties without having to hide disposable sleep pants and camping without wet sleeping bags! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: the pads for the bed are a huge savings on laundry and are much easier to use that ones I have used in past. I also appreciate the book which has helped my child to understand that bedwetting is not his fault and to help him gain confidence in managing this on his own. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: I was definately skeptical that this type of solution would work for my son because he sleeps so hard nothing seems to wake him up. However, he was awakened from the first night by the combination of the alarm & vibration feature on the model we chose. I did have to get up with him & lead him to the bathroom the first week because he was half-asleep. In the second week he started going to the bathroom some of the times by himself - we had 1 dry night in the second week. Third week - we had 5 dry nights. My son is 9 and this is probably as many dry nights as he has had in his lifetime. So far (we're in the fourth week) he has had 8 dry nights in a row. I appreciate how the books caution that it takes 12 weeks on the average for success - that really helped me set my expectations. I also appreciated the hints the other parents gave. |

Comments: We used this product for my 8 year old who hjad never been dry through the night but decided he no longer wanted to wear a pull up. He would wet the bed, and a lot, twice a night and wouldn't wake up when he would wet. I was very, very skeptical about trying this alarm especially since it is a little pricey, but I was tired of changing sheets and he was frustrated about still wetting and needing a pull up, so I ordered the kit. I thought he was going to be resistant to wearing it, but he was very excited to try it. The first night he wore it, he woke up 2 times. I wrote the alarm is too low, because we sometimes couldn;t hear it in our room, but my son is a sound sleeper and it woke him up. I think a baby monitor would help with it. The first week he wore the alarm, he had one dry night. The second week he wore the alarm, he had 4 dry nights! He didn't wet at all the third or fourth week and he is now in the 5th week and is staying dry throughout the night without the alarm! I never thought he would be pull up free! He is so thrilled and cannot wait to have his first sleep over! Now to get his younger brother to wear it and we will be pull up free!!! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My 8 y.o. son NEVER had a dry night. He would soak through his pullup all the time. I tried to wake him at night to go to the bathroom. I finally bought thisproduct. It was easy to use (he could put it on him self). The first week he had one dry night. The second week he had 4 dry nights. We haven't heard the alarm now at all in his 4th week. I am so proud of him and he is soooo proud of his self. He can't wait to do sleep overs with his friends. I am a medical professional and will be sharing my story with many physicians to let them know how great this worked. |

Comments: My daughter goes to a lot of sleepovers and at age 7 was starting to get self-conscious of her bedwetting. She is starting her 7th week and is staying dry at night more and more! The alarm is loud enough to wake her up right away, so even her jammies are dry! I can't think of a single negative to this system. I believe my daughter will be a dry girl all night long every night in the near future! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: We have used this alarm for over 6 months and it never woke my son up. This product may be good for a light sleeper. I was sooo hopeful :(... Anyway, I now wake him up at 11 every night and that seems to work the best. Now he only has 3-4 accidents a month. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: This bedwetting alarm has changed our lives. Our family doc was going to put our 6 -year old daughter on imiprimine (anti-depressant). We refused and did our own research. This alarm is exactly what she needed. She was ready for anything and wanted the help. We got her fired up about the alarm. She started wearing it on Dec 1. By Christmas Eve she was dry and it's been 12 days since - totally dry! She is a heavy sleeper, but now it seems her brain can sense the feeling of having to urinate and she holds it in all night. Totally, totally, amazing. I made sure I was at a point in my work schedule that I could stay committed with her. So there were many nights that I was the only one in our family who heard the alarm. I'd get up and have to wake her. Sometimes she'd sleep through the sound. I recommend the alarm with multiple sound selections so the child doesn't grow accustomed. My daughter and I stayed very committed, got the 7 steps book and used sticker chart, and it has worked for us. I celebrate this alarm!!! Please give it a try!! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: My son just turned 10. He has never been able to stay dry. We took him to the doctor, tried waking him in the middle of the night, no drinks before bed, medication, etc. Nothing worked, and we became frustrated. I never liked the idea of an alarm. I thought that would be frightening for a child, but one day my son and I decided to look in to alarms because that was our last option. We had no luck with anything else. I read some stories with him, and my son was happy to see that other kids had the same problem. November 11 of 2009 we started the program. It was hard at first because I had to sleep in his room to help wake him up. He is such a sound sleeper that our dog jumped on him in the middle of the night and started licking him, and he did not wake up. In the beginning I had to assist when the alarm would ring and get him to go to the bathroom. After a week, he started doing it himself. Here we are, two months later and he has been dry for 18 nights in a row. He has never been dry for more than one night, so this has been such a blessing. He has two sisters that have no idea that he was a bed wetter. We had a special garbage can in his bathroom and would put his pullups in a special place for him. It was embarrassing for him. He is so confident now and is happy to be wearing underwear to sleep. He is so happy in the morning to wake up dry. His father and I have always been patient with his bed wetting. He knew it was not his fault that he could not wake up. This alarm system was a decision we all made together and my son was excited to try it. I really wish that we tried this much sooner, like 5 years ago. I don't know how it works, but it does. Within a few nights, he was having a dry night here and there, and on the nights that he would wet, it was smaller and smaller amounts. This system is easy to use, and the pads that come with it are fantastic. All I can say is that if my son can overcome this problem, anyone can. He was the deepest sleeper I have ever… |
