I was scared at the thought of hooking my 6 year old up to an alarm to wake her up so abruptly in her sleep, but I wish I would've done this LONG AGO!!! As expected, it was a rough start. Admittedly I didn't think anything could help my daughter, because she wet like an infant (throughout the night) and slept like she was in a COMA! But THIS SYSTEM WORKED!! I slept in her room so she wouldn't be scared when it went off (I didn't want her waking in a panic thinking someone was breaking in or something!) and it was totally worth it! The mattress covers made life simple and the 2 were enough to get us through the night. Also, the book gave me much insight to the issue (both included in kit). I told her how BRAVE she was and that I was proud of her courage to continue. I didn't want to be "proud" of her success just like I wasn't ashamed of her failure. The wetting she had no control over-- the courage she did!! Best of luck! I WOULD GET THIS SYSTEM AGAIN!!! Also-- I called the 800# several times for advice. They were wonderful and comforting! I'm so glad for this invention!

I am just upset that we waited so long to get it! My 7 year old daughter is so much more confident now when it comes to bedtime - what a blessings!! It only took 2 days for her to completely stop having "accidents." Praise God!

I bought this alarm for my 6 year old son. He was wearing diapers for big kids since he is 60 lbs. so the diapers were super expensive.He was over flowing in his diaper daily so I decided to spend money on an alarm. At first I was not sure if the alarm would work but to my surprise it works. The first coulpe of weeks was tough since I had to wake up my son when the alarm went off (I had a baby monitor in his room and the parent monitor in my room so when it went off I would hear it since his room is down the hallway). I would get him up and he would go to the bathroom. The first week he was very wet then the following weeks he would be slightly wet then went to not wet at all. This trained my son to get up when he felt like to had to go to the bathroom. I started in Sept. 2011 and he still wears his alarm as of Dec.2011. He rarely has any accidents at night as of December. I feel that he is not 100% ready to sleep wihtout the alarm. Now he wakes up and goes to the bathroom then re- attaches his alarm. One con is sometimes my son sweats at night so the alarm goes off because of his sweating. This product takes patience and is not a quick fix. The first 2 weeks I felt like I had a new born since my son woke up twice a night. I bought this kit because it came with the water proof sheet that you put on top of the fitted sheet. That had to be changed and my son had to get cleaned up so this was a task twice a night and then I had to try to get back to sleep which is tough for me. I love this product and would recommend but with lots of patience. I save a lot of money on not having to buy diapers.

This product changed our lives for the better quickly and easily...Our 7 yr old daughter had not had a dry night in years and in the first week with this product she had 3! In the 6 weeks we have been using this product we only had 3 nites where we had to wash the mattress pad...and our daughter has now been dry 21 days in a row...she is talking about summer camp! I do think our daughter was "ready" for this from a maturity stand point...after the first week she was doing it all herself...but it certainly put the responsibility on her for her own dryness...

I cannot believe how well this worked. My daughter is about 8 1/2 and I could only count on one hand the number of times she had stayed dry during the night before we got her alarm. She was very excited to see how it worked since obviously, at her age, this was bothersome for her. The alarm went off the first night and she woke right up; her bed not even wet. She has only had the alarm go off 5 times total and that was in the first two weeks. For the last 23 days, she has been totally dry. (The first 14 of those were with the alarm set but it never had to sound and the last 9 days she has not even worn it at all.) I don't quite understand how this works since she didn't even need it but for the first two weeks and normally she is a zombie when sleeping. Anyway, if I had known how well this worked, I would have purchased it a long long time ago. Best money spent and she is so happy.

It vibrates and eventually my child woke up but every single time, he had already peed. It is not loud enough and it won't allow you to choose your own ringtone and how loud you want to put it. Waste of my money and sleepless nights without any improvement.

I wish we would have tried this sooner! I had some preconceived notion's about bed wetting alarms. I am so glad I was wrong. It took my son less than a week of consistent wearing and he has been pull up free for months now! I am happy to say we have even lost track of how long it has been! What a blessing.

I must say, I was very skeptical when ordering this product, but I was desperate to help my son with his bedwetting. The first week, my son and I were woken up by the alarm anywhere from 1-3 times a night. By the second week, he had a couple nights of being dry. By the third week, he was dry for most of the week. Now, it's been at least two months since his last accident. It's like the alarm helped teach him to wake up before going to the bathroom. I can't say enough good things abut this package. My 10 year old had never had a dry night, so I thought it would take months to see results. However, he stopped wetting after a week and only had a few accidents in the following 2 weeks. He's been dry without the alarm for a few months now. The alarm was easy to use & my son was able to remove & reset the alarm himself. The book was very helpful. I found it more informative and with more practical tips than internet resources. I was skeptical that an alarm would work, but I really wish I had ordered it sooner.

After three nights my 7-year-old was totally self-managing this alarm. Her wetting was resolved except for the occasional droplet or two in her undies within two weeks. I would not have purchased the book separately but it was actually nice to have. I also did not wind up really needing the second bed pad since she very quickly got a handle on the wetting - but it was nice to feel like I had it just in case. I thought the alarm worked very well and was as uninvasive as I could imagine something like this being.

My 12.5 year old daughter never had a dry night. We have tried less effective alarms (woke everyone BUT her) in the past as well as medication. We consulted a top pediatric hospital's urology clinic and were referred to this product. The well researched book which really laid out the key issues and 'what to expect' type of scenarios really made the difference. Use of the pads as well as the high quality alarm all together made this product work within weeks for our daughter. In our case, the book had answers to specific questions that even the top urologist did not!!! The purple alarm had a nice tone that woke my daughter without scaring the heck out of her. The alarm did not really wake us (we are located quite a distance away). Actually, this helped as she was able to accomplish dry nights on her own which helped in her sense of accomplishment. She and we are extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Every one including doctors said he would "just grow out of it" but at 11 I started to really wonder, and it made him feel bad. I got the kit followed the directions to a T and 3 months later he is completely accident free. He never had dry nights before and would soak through a pull up, now he is DRY EVERY NIGHT!!! Best money we have ever spent, and he is so excited and PROUD of himself!! Thanks you for a fantastic product that made our family life so much better!
