CONS BEST USES Comments: This worked great for us. My son is 6 years old and we used the alarm for about 2-3 months. And now he no longer wets the bed!! He learned to wake-up and use the restroom and also I think he can hold his urine longer. I think if we had not used this..he would still be wetting the bed. It is worth the investment!! The beginning is the hardest part, but not as bad as I thought it would be! The alarm usually did not go off more than once and usually the late evening. |

Comments: Started working immediately. Wish I'd done it sooner. We found resetting the alarm after accidents to be a hassle. It often still had enough moisture in it to make re-attaching it take too long in the middle of the night. We wound up just sending him back to bed in a dry pull up without the alarm for the rest of the night. Also sometimes struggled getting alarm to attach to underpants. But overall, the alarm was successful where years of waking him in the middle of the night didn't work at all. It was very simple for him to use, even when the kids had a babysitter, he could do it himself. After it went off the first night, his brother slept though future sounding. The absolute best part of this alarm was my son's face when he was dry morning after morning! Exuberant! Ecstatic! He was a changed kid less than a month after starting the alarm. I could kick myself for not trying it a few years earlier. I have recommended it to all my friends with kids in the same boat. Couldn't be happier with the final result. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The alarm is awkward to pin on, there should be a better way. It woke her up no problem. It's when she gained her confidence to try it without it is when we had trouble. When she used it she didn't wet the bed. But she never really was able to feel like she overcame bed wetting. I'm sad for her and would do anything to fix this if I could. She is 8 years old. |

Comments: 8-year-old went from distressed to dry in about 7 weeks. Never had woken up dry a day in 8 years. Now dry every morning for months, and no alarm required. Small learning curve. There were times it wouldn't shut off. Not too uncomfortable. Sibling quickly learned to sleep through alarm. Book and chart were extremely helpful. An 8-year-old has trouble re-attaching sensor to underpants alone. She appreciated color choices for unit. She initially thought it would be too loud, but the first few nights she almost slept through the alarm. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My 6 year old son's pediatrician referred us to these alarms saying that it worked for her son and she was confident that it would work for us too. My son had never had a dry night in his life and we were desperate to get him out of pull ups. After reading all the postive reviews we decided to try the magical product that "would change our lives forever". IT TOTALLY DID!!! The first night my son soaked the bed three times, the next night once, by day three he started waking up to the alarm and only having a small wet spot on his underwear. It took about two weeks for him to have his first completely dry night and about 4 weeks be totally dry everynight. I don't know how it works but it does and I'm so glad I invested in the alarm. It has been about 5 months and my son has only had one or two small accidents since he stopped wearing the alarm (and those times were while traveling and out of his routine). It is totally worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: After 11 years of wet beds and a lot of laundry, we ordered the Malem Alarm. After a couple of weeks, our child no longer wet the bed. I wish we would have ordered it a long time ago! Highly recommended! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My son is 10 and his pediatrician suggested we buy this ages ago when he had nightly bedwetting. We didn't want to spend that kind of money with the chances that it may not work. Now that he's invited to a lot of sleepovers, we didn't want him worrying about his friends finding out that he wore "Goodnites" to bed, and we gave it a shot. We started it in July and it was like having a newborn baby all over again. LOL We woke up with him a few times a night for the first month, and it slowly tapered off to once or twice per week. In September he had been dry for a few weeks so we stopped using it. He has not had an accident since and it is now the end of November. He wakes up on his own if he has to go in the middle of the night. Wish we listened to his doctor. This alarm was a blessing! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We used this product every night for 3 months and then it broke. We purchased another bedwetting alarm and it too broke after 3 months. Considering the cost of these alarms we assumed they would be better made. But it was a great product while it lasted. |

BEST USES Comments: My son stopped wetting the bed right away. He wore the alarm and had a couple of accidents, but for the most part it kept him from peeing the bed. Now after about 6 months he is no longer wearing the alarm. Thanks |

BEST USES Comments: I love this alarm!! My son is 7 and rarely had a dry night, within two weeks he started having more and more dry nights and now he has been completely bedwetting free for more than 3 months. It took a few weeks and at one point I thought it would never work and then one night he just stopped wetting the bed and hasn't again. Great product, not a prescription medication with who knows what kind of side effects and my child was so proud. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Thank you! Our lives have changed!!! My 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter had both never gone a single night without wetting the bed, no matter what incentives were provided. In less than 3 weeks, my son was completely trained and my daughter in less than two. It has been almost a year since we've used the alarm and no accidents! We waited a long time because I thought we couldn't afford it, but the amount we have saved in overnight diapers paid for it in 3 months. I truly thought it would take longer and be harder to overcome, but the alarm worked. I do wish it would have been a bit louder, but a baby monitor did the trick. |

PROS
CONS BEST USES Comments: We received our alarm kit in July. We had one really wet night and one night with a small wet spot and have been dry every other night. We also combined this with some physical therapy for exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor. The BIGGEST thing is that your child has to be ready to work at being dry. We have a very happy 7 year old! We purchased the alarm with the vibration option as our daughter has a hearing loss--never had any issues with her not awakening. |

BEST USES Comments: When my son was 3 he was still wetting at night. We then thought something more might be going on than potty-training issues. We had tried all the tricks from books and the internet and nothing was working by age 5. From pills to drops, going to the chiropractor and acupuncture therapy. Nothing worked. He was 5 1/2 and just about to start kindergarten and was so sick and tired of wetting at night. He would set alarms at night hitting his self-esteem. We ordered the basic starter kit. The first few times the alarm went off my son would cry and didn't want to do it again. After a week he was only having little accidents every night and by the third week he was waking up to go the bathroom by himself. He still cannot hold it all night long with hardly any water at night but at least he gets up. I wouldn't say I wish I had found this earlier because I think he was not ready. It took him until he was embarrassed and hated wetting to be serious about it so that when the alarm scared him he still wanted to do it to stop wetting at night. He was one determined little boy. Thank you for making a product that helps solve the problem not just cover the symptom! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Our son was 8 when he finally decided that he was too old to be wearing night time pull ups. Plus, if just pained me how disappointed he would feel in the morning with a wet diaper. And the stress he would feel before a sleep over. We had tried everything...taking him to the bathroom at night, withholding liquids from 7pm on, reward charts, and more. After researching this, I learned that none of the things we tried really were ever going to help him. I was skeptical about the alarm, since a train could do through my son's room and he would not wake. Buit the alarm woke him. Make sure to read the book before you start anything. I read certain parts to my entire family, so everyone was on board in supporting our efforts. My son is now on his 75th dry night, and I think the alarm actually only went off a dozen times or less. He turned 9 today and I am so happy that night time wetting is behind us. It only took him 2 months to retrain his brain, but he was mentally so ready to do this. I am just AMAZED!!! My son is so proud of himself and so confident! On a side note, I did not find the bed pads comfortable nor useful. So we put on underwear, the alarm and then a pull up over it. Other than that, this product really, really works! |
