PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My 8 y.o. son NEVER had a dry night. He would soak through his pullup all the time. I tried to wake him at night to go to the bathroom. I finally bought thisproduct. It was easy to use (he could put it on him self). The first week he had one dry night. The second week he had 4 dry nights. We haven't heard the alarm now at all in his 4th week. I am so proud of him and he is soooo proud of his self. He can't wait to do sleep overs with his friends. I am a medical professional and will be sharing my story with many physicians to let them know how great this worked. |

Comments: My daughter goes to a lot of sleepovers and at age 7 was starting to get self-conscious of her bedwetting. She is starting her 7th week and is staying dry at night more and more! The alarm is loud enough to wake her up right away, so even her jammies are dry! I can't think of a single negative to this system. I believe my daughter will be a dry girl all night long every night in the near future! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: We have used this alarm for over 6 months and it never woke my son up. This product may be good for a light sleeper. I was sooo hopeful :(... Anyway, I now wake him up at 11 every night and that seems to work the best. Now he only has 3-4 accidents a month. |

CONS BEST USES Comments: This bedwetting alarm has changed our lives. Our family doc was going to put our 6 -year old daughter on imiprimine (anti-depressant). We refused and did our own research. This alarm is exactly what she needed. She was ready for anything and wanted the help. We got her fired up about the alarm. She started wearing it on Dec 1. By Christmas Eve she was dry and it's been 12 days since - totally dry! She is a heavy sleeper, but now it seems her brain can sense the feeling of having to urinate and she holds it in all night. Totally, totally, amazing. I made sure I was at a point in my work schedule that I could stay committed with her. So there were many nights that I was the only one in our family who heard the alarm. I'd get up and have to wake her. Sometimes she'd sleep through the sound. I recommend the alarm with multiple sound selections so the child doesn't grow accustomed. My daughter and I stayed very committed, got the 7 steps book and used sticker chart, and it has worked for us. I celebrate this alarm!!! Please give it a try!! |

CONS BEST USES Comments: My son just turned 10. He has never been able to stay dry. We took him to the doctor, tried waking him in the middle of the night, no drinks before bed, medication, etc. Nothing worked, and we became frustrated. I never liked the idea of an alarm. I thought that would be frightening for a child, but one day my son and I decided to look in to alarms because that was our last option. We had no luck with anything else. I read some stories with him, and my son was happy to see that other kids had the same problem. November 11 of 2009 we started the program. It was hard at first because I had to sleep in his room to help wake him up. He is such a sound sleeper that our dog jumped on him in the middle of the night and started licking him, and he did not wake up. In the beginning I had to assist when the alarm would ring and get him to go to the bathroom. After a week, he started doing it himself. Here we are, two months later and he has been dry for 18 nights in a row. He has never been dry for more than one night, so this has been such a blessing. He has two sisters that have no idea that he was a bed wetter. We had a special garbage can in his bathroom and would put his pullups in a special place for him. It was embarrassing for him. He is so confident now and is happy to be wearing underwear to sleep. He is so happy in the morning to wake up dry. His father and I have always been patient with his bed wetting. He knew it was not his fault that he could not wake up. This alarm system was a decision we all made together and my son was excited to try it. I really wish that we tried this much sooner, like 5 years ago. I don't know how it works, but it does. Within a few nights, he was having a dry night here and there, and on the nights that he would wet, it was smaller and smaller amounts. This system is easy to use, and the pads that come with it are fantastic. All I can say is that if my son can overcome this problem, anyone can. He was the deepest sleeper I have ever… |

BEST USES Comments: My child sleeps so soundly she doesn't wake to the alarm or vibration. My older daughter will wake her up instead but when she is gone to college it would be nice to have an alarm for myself so I could go wake her up when her's goes off. The pads are an extra plus and has really helped cut down in laundering sheets. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The alarm was so easy to use, my 6-year-old was able to attach it herself within a day or so, and was proud to do it! The pink color thrilled her princess tendencies. The alarm sound and vibration itself worked like a charm, as she could usually sleep through ANYTHING. It's only been a month, and she is now dry through the night, even getting up herself now without it. I can't say enough good things about this product, I am recommending it to everyone I know. The only con would be that I didn't hear about this sooner! Thanks Malem for stellar products! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My son was dry after only two nights. This alarm works wonders. I would HIGHLY recommend to any family. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My daughter is 5 and still slept with a pullup. It was completely full every single morning. We tried the ususal... no fluid after dinner, waking her up, not waking her up, rewarding her, letting her be wet... Absolutly nothing worked. My husband and father both wet the bed until they were at least 12 so I thought we were really in for the long haul. I talked to her doctor and got the usual advice "let her grow out of it." I am not the type of mom who will stand by and watch something so negative continue to happen to my child if I can help it. I started my online research and contacted a bedwetting center. They wanted $2600 to treat my child. I decided to look further and found this alarm and decided to give it a try. The first night we got up three times. The next 3 nights were dry, which is common with this alarm. After that she went from wetting twice to wetting once around 2am to wetting at 6am and now she is one month completely dry except for one 6am wet. She has decided to not wear the alarm anymore with the agreement that she will if she starts wetting again. She is so proud of herself. It came with great charts that her and I fill out together every morning. I am so greatful for this product for saving her years of shame and embarrassement over something she had no control over. THANK YOU! |

CONS
BEST USES Comments: We bought this for our 7 year old daughter who was wetting about 2-3 times a week. Since we've started the alarm she's only wet about 3x in 6 weeks. The guideline is to use it until dry for 14 nights and then go to every other night and then go back to every night again for 14 if there is a wet night. At the rate we're at should be done in another couple weeks!! Cons are because this attaches to the front of underwear it alarms a little late for girls. Also, because of the cord it can come undone and set of the alarm if it pulls out. If I had to do it again, I might go with the pad solution -- although I'm pretty happy with this one. |

Comments: My 7 year old son, who has been dry during the day for years, was wearing pull ups at night and, in retrospect, clearly had no idea of what bladder control at night 'felt' like. He is a deep sleeper and so for a while, we wrote it off to that. He didn't seem to care one way or another, but it bothered me and his pediatrician recommended the Malem. I was skeptical and even thought it was somewhat cruel. My son went on line with me and I explained the product and he was excited to pick out the color he wanted and was eager to use his 'new alarm' as soon as it arrived. He told his Nana he has 2 alarms, one to wake up in the morning and one for peeing!! The first week was rough because we couldn't hear the alarm soon enough but it did get him up and we helped him change. Over that week, he went from getting up 3 times soaked to one time slightly wet, he was finally able to contol his bladder. By the second week he was getting up on his own without the alarm. We had one or 2 'slightly wets' during weeks 3 and 4 and he successfully completed the program in 8 weeks. Now he occassionally gets up once during the night but mostly sleeps thru the night as he now understands the 'feeling' and learned how to control his bladder. We are so proud of him and amazed with this product. I seriously do not know how we wouldve 'trained' him without it. Don't wait!! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: I am not sure of the science behind this, but I know that it works! My son is 6 and had about 5 dry nights in his life before this product. We used to get him up 3 times a night to use the restroom and he was still wet in the morning. After 4 weeks of using this, one night the alarm went off and he told me, it's broke, I'm not wet. Well, there was a very small wet spot. The alarm caused him to stop. We have been dry every night since then - about 2 weeks now. |

PROS
CONS BEST USES Comments: This has been great for us. My son is 6 and was still sleeping through wetting everynight. He was very excited to use this and even wanted to take it to school for show-and-tell! We have been using it for 6 weeks and have seen a major improvements. Most nights he is only slightly wet now waking up to the alarm and often even taking care of things himself. It's too soon to know if this will retrain him enough to have all dry nights but we are hopeful. |
