PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My 8 year old boy was having bedwetting problems. So I purchased the Malem Ultimate alarm. I was a bit familiar with it because my dad had purchased a similar product for me when I was a little girl (I'm 35 now!). The alarm devise helped me as a little girl, and it also helped my son now. He wore it to bed every night for about 3 months to train his brain to wake when he experienced the releasing sensation. My son is a heavy sleeper, so I purchased the alarm that vibrates in addition to a loud sound. It was very effective. The first few days I had him sleep in my room so that he would not be too afraid or startled when it sounded and I could help him learn how to take care of it in the middle of the night. Now he has been 3 weeks with now accidents! Yay! |

BEST USES Comments: We've used this alarm now on Child #2 and it's working exactly like the book described! We've gone through so many "charts", we've probably killed a rain forest lol... but it's working! What a relief it is to find something that worked. Thank you so much! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: Used this for my almost 7yr old son. We had camp this summer he didn't want to go because he was still wearing pull-ups. Started the alarm and within 2weeks we were dry, dry, dry!! Only one accident since. Highly recommend reading the book too, I thought I "knew it all" but lots of new info. He is so proud of himself! Well worth the $$$$. Would suggest the kit with the pads because it makes the first week very easy :) |

Comments: I found this product and am so glad we bought it. My daughter is 6 and has had very few dry nights. The first week or so of wearing the alarm, we had to wake our daughter when the alarm went off due to her being a very heavy sleeper. Within a couple of weeks, she would wake and come and get us to help her clean up. We had some heavy wet nights and some not so wet. She very quickly got to the point where she could easily put the alarm on and take it off by herself. Daddy even had a tough time with it. She has now been dry for about a month. She quickly progressed to having very few wet nights to all dry, but when not wearing the alarm she would wet again. We have had the alarm 3.5 months and she no longer has to wear it. She wakes on her own and returns to bed without any problems. Thank goodness for this product! Now she can sleep over at friends without the mess and embarassment. |

BEST USES Comments: We were skeptical but willing to try it as our 7 year old wanted to get out of pull ups. He had a handful of dry nights since he was potty trained, but was mostly soaking overnight pull ups every night. The first couple of weeks are very tiring and like having a newborn again. BUT, the alarm was working and so we continued to go with it. My son soon was having occasional dry nights during the first few weeks and by week 4 was completely dry. He complained after the first week and didn't want to wear the alarm anymore, but we convinced him that it would work if he stuck with it. Fortunately, for us, it did and he has been dry for over 2 months now. Double voiding helps tremendously during use, but now sometimes he forgets and still is dry all night. We are so happy for him and the fact that we no longer worry about sleepovers etc.. not to mention all the money we've saved from purchasing pull ups. Stick with the alarm and it will work. I would recommend using an alarm and getting the mattress protectors and the book as well. Wish we had done it sooner. |

BEST USES Comments: Amazing product!!! We chose the wireless alarm in the army green color. My daughter is 9 and has never had a dry night in her life. We had talked about an alarm years ago and she was resistant so I didn't push it. She has been wearing pull-ups and for the last year has relied on her father the wake her up, sometimes twice a night. If he woke her up only one the bed would be wet in the morning. I showed her the website and we read many of the reviews together. It was important to me that she be completely willing to use the alarm and understand the medical reasons as to why she is a bedwetter. She picked out the color and alarm sound that she wanted. We bought it and it worked beautifully. The double voiding is the most important part for her and she continues to do this. She woke up on her own to the sound of the alarm. After the first week, the alarm wasn't going off. We continued to use the alarm for 14 days. Total time was about 5 weeks. She had one wet night and we went back to the 14 day rule. She has not had a wet night since and has given us the alarm to put away for good. She is a very determined young girl when she puts her mind to something and she connected with this product right away. We did alot of research and talked openly about the brain and it's connection to the bladder. We were very patient with her. 9 years is a long time to be a bedwetter. There is a history in the family with her grandmother, an aunt, and an uncle. She has done an amazing job and we are very proud of her. We are now on tho the next challenge! |

Comments: I purchased this product after the failed use of 3 others. This one was as easy to use as it claimed and just as effective! My daughters are 7 and 5 and both have nocturnal enuresis (nighttime bedwetting). We purchased this product as a starter kit with the bed pads and booklet. It costs a little more but decreases the headache a LOT! My 7 year old, who had NEVER had a dry night in her life, has been dry for over two months. It does take some time and you should stick with the routine outlined in the booklet. For my youngest daughter, we use it during the day (we purchased a separate sensor) as a helper to better bathroom habits. She has daytime wetting that is unexplained and the pediatrician recommended we try it as an audible alert for both of us that it's time to go potty. Don't give up after the first few weeks! It took us nearly 2 months to get my oldest completely dry but she is much more confident and able to attend sleepovers without embarrassment. We've been 8 weeks and 4 days consecutively dry! My youngest is showing daytime improvement as well, and had reduced her number of accidents during the day to just an occasional one. We are following the 14 day dry rule outlined in the book and are working towards 14 days of no accidents! Hopefully, the nighttime bedwetting will resolve itself in the next year but if it doesn't, we have this wonderful product to rely on! Can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with this product! STRONGLY recommend the booklet they sell-it was very helpful during relapses to be encouraged and know that it was a normal process. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: We tried everything to help our child have dry nights. Then we tried this alarm and it was always able to stir my child out of bed. It was successful in training my child to get up at night to use the bathroom and to go nights without having to use the bathroom. Within 2 months he was consistantly dry and has now been dry for 1 1/2 months, after many, many, many years of heavy wetness every night. This product changed my child's life and we are so thankful for this product. It has made him so happy. |

BEST USES Comments: I had been looking into this for years, but whenever I broached it with my husband he 'knew' it wouldn't work. He had the experience after all, he was a bedwetter himself as a child. But when his baby girl on the eve of her 9th birthday approached him about it he relented and we purchased it. We loosely followed the book. There has only been one accident where sheets needed to be changed since she started using it. We used the alarm for 3 weeks and she hasn't needed it since. She has been accident free since February. Much different from the days when I washed sheets on a daily basis after her nighttime 'underwear' were saturated every single night. Two nights ago, I heard her get up to use the bathroom. Something so mundane, and yet my heart swelled with so much pride for my little girl who no longer has the burden of nighttime bedwetting. |

Comments: We had a bit of a problem at first and had to send it back. [...] Also, the instructions didn't explain how the pin worked. Because is has the guard on it, it was confusing and frustrating at first. I don't mean to sound dumb because a safety pin shouldn't cause frustration, but we couldn't get it opened the first time, until we figured it out...Other than that, though, we were very pleased with the results of the alarm. My daughter is 7 and hadn't had a dry night in her life until the 3rd night of the alarm. It was finally something loud enough to wake her up. After that 3rd night, she never wet again. I am so grateful I avoided starting her on pills as the DR suggested at first. I almost did, but read up on the meds and found out they messed with hormones and weren't a solution at all!! The bed alarm is the only solution in my opinion! |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: My six year old daughter was still wetting the bed at night. She didn't want to have sleep overs because of this. I tried setting alarms and waking her up but never could get the time right. Alarm worked within a month. I also found out from reading the book that comes with it that she is sensitive to milk. |

PROS
CONS BEST USES Comments: We bought this for our daughter who is ten and still wet every night. I would say she is a sound sleeper, although most kids seem to be, and she had said she liked just going in her pullups instead of waking up. She was very open to the idea of an alarm, but it was rough the first week or two with her deciding she did not like wearing it because the sound scared her. Like most things the key was consistency and following the plan that she had agreed to. We are not a typical case in that she only had ~6 accident total after starting to use the alarm, and she is now sleeping without it for the past two weeks and still dry after only using it for ~10 weeks. She did have one accident during the two week period of every other night with the alarm, so we had to start the four week cycle again, but we talked about how her body was still learning to wake up and how far she had come and she seemed to keep a great attitude about it. I recommend getting the package with two dry pads and the book because they were very helpful. Having the ability to pull the wet pad off and put another dry one on with minimal fuss is great for them and you. Also, getting them involved in filling out the log is a great way to show them that they are improving, even if it is only waking up an hour or two later each week as their body adapts. Being a kid who wet the bed until I was in high school I can definitely appreciate what this product and program has done for my daughter. My parents were supportive, and had even tried alarms when I was a kid, but without knowing how to use them effectively we all got frustrated and soon stopped using it. If you and you child go into it know that it may be hard in the beginning, but agree to stay committed, I think you will be very satisfied as well. |

Comments: I can't believe how quickly and completely the alarm worked for us. We followed the directions that came with the unit. Within two weeks granddaughter was having dry nights. We kept using the machine when she was away from home (vacation, overnights, etc) but soon found it was not necessary. We had even forgotten about it until she cleaning her room and found it again. We had a good laugh about not needing it anymore! If you're even considering an alarm - DON'T WAIT! |

BEST USES Comments: This product is so easy to use. I read the book first and followed the directions step by step. It took a few nights to find the best place to hook the battery pack/alarm to my son's pajamas. My son went from soaking through a pull up on a nightly basis to being dry!!! He is so proud of himself and happy that he doesn't need pull ups anymore. I have recommended this product to friends and told my sons pediatrician that I would talk to other parents who were thinking of purchasing this bedwetting product. So easy to use and worth every single penny!!!!!!! |
