Works great if child sleeps in the middle of the bed but if they move to the side (like against a wall), the wetness leaks down the sides of the mat and into the sheets/mattress. I use it under the sheet for extra protection with a different mat on top of the sheet.

These are quality overlays. We always purchase the ones with the "wings" that tuck under the mattress so that they don't slide. They make a middle of the night accident so much easier to deal with. Easier for you, and a lot less stressful for your child. Having more than one is a great way to go, but if you aren't having two accidents in one night, you can get by with one. [...]

Got 2 for my 3 yr old son who sometimes has leakage from a full diaper. Not ready to take the plunge and go w/o any diaper. The pad definitely does it's job and washes nicely. Very large coverage area which is great for a child that does not sleep in one spot all night. Just the other night my son had a 48 hr bug and threw up in bed and the cover protected the mattress as well as the top sheet! Would highly recommend this product.

Both my boys share a bed and they both wet and this cover works and keeps my sheets dry. One less thing for me to do in the middle of the night. The only thing is that washing directions say you can't use fabric softner, but not much of a negative. I recommend this. :)

Was a little expensive but has been completely worth the cost. Super soft (not stiff), doesn't make a crinkly noise, stays in place with my wiggly son. I recommend this for anyone struggling with a bedwetting child. It makes it easier on everyone!

If I had only known about this years ago! My older son is 10 and has had issues his whole life. This pad makes nighttime issues so easy to cope with, for everyone! Has reduced our frustration greatly! I'm using it with my toilet training toddler as well, to improve our response to him. It is comfortable (not hot or sticky), doesn't make noise, and stays in place, even through my older child is an extremely restless sleeper. It was very easy to change in the middle of the night, and I didn't even have to remove any other covers! Thanks a million!

These overlays are great! They are long enough to cover they area needed which is a huge plus. I have another brand which are not as long and have had leakage over the coverage area. These overlays are easy to use and cover a large area! They are easy to wash. I put two down and then pick up the one in the middle of the night and still have the bed protected. My 5 year old has diabetes insipidus, so he needs extra protection at night. This product is the best I have found to date. It allows for a comfortable sleep, and the sheets below remain dry. We bought the biggest size so that we can really wrap it around the mattress to prevent movement. With the smaller sizes, movement made it a little less dependable.

The flap shredded off after I washed it 1 time - even though I got the one that has the flaps that tuck under the mattress - it still moves and ends up with less coverage. I had high expectations from what I read, but this isn't the case.
