I am using these to help night train my son. I was tired of buying expensive diapers for my 5-yr-old; since I switched to these he has been having fewer accidents because he wakes when he feels wet. The cost is less than 2 packs of diapers for one. I got two so I could switch them out if necessary. However, I have to pin the tuck-in sides onto the sheet, because he moves around at night and bunches up the pad. This has led to some full bedding changes since he wet right at the edge of the pad and overflowed. Also, the slow absorbency does not protect any bedding on top of the wet area. Use caution when removing, as the moisture can and will run out of the pad. Despite that, these work well and I feel I am getting my money's worth. My son is only having accidents once or twice a week now, instead of every night.

I care for my 46 year-old autistic, incontinent sister. This has reduced the wear and tear on my back, arms, and legs, through reducing the number of bedchanges and laundry loads each day. Such a simple design, such a huge relief from drudgery! Unless you care for someone with special needs that compound daily living challenges, you can't appreciate the power of one small change making such a significant difference in the health of the caregiver, and, consequently, the entire household. We use it on my 10 year old son's bed. It's great because it tucks in under the mattress and doesn't move around. If there are any accidents we aren't having to wash ALL of the bedding now!

using for my dad who has alzheimers and we are trying to keep him home for as long as we can. He still sleeps in king size bed with my mom and we use the overlays as back up with adult diapers. Very helpful for overflow in case he has a accident.

don't know yet how well this product repels liquids, but do know that it is so lightweight it moves all over the bed at the slightest touch. The dimensions of the product are not very helpful so we got two of the large ones to cover the area we needed. We haven't used it much, because it just slips all over the place and bunches up like crazy. We were expecting it to be a more heavy weight material.

Purchased for my 4 and 6 year old's beds. Could not find a full size overlay anywhere. This is perfect. My 4 year olds is over top of her sheet, it is softer than a sheet and works well, absorbing accidents. My 6 year old has accidents very infrequently and his is under his fitted sheet, layered so i only need strip the sheet and overlay if an accident. Washes well. Also works well for vomitting kids, I put it on the couch. No complaints.

I have an old dog with a bladder control problem while he sleeps. I place these pads on his bed and they capture all the leakage that occurs during the night. The pads never leak and they wash beautifully! They're in the wash daily and still hold up. I've been using them for over a year. Excellent product. It does what it says it will do.

My daughter is 4 and has had struggles with wetting at night and occasionally during the day. She averaged maybe 1 dry night a month and day time accidents about 3 times a week. well the first week of using this product, my daugter was dry 3 nights!!! It is now week three and have had a consecutive 7 day and nights of dryness, so it also helped her with wetting during the day! Love this product, my daughter is so proud of herself everymorning! I put in my child's twin bed lengthwise, with two smaller pads on either side to catch the edges which can run onto the bottom sheet. So the pads are in a cross formation. Love the size and lack of seams so it holds alot of urine. Have to put a flat sheet over it in the summer as it makes my son sweat (it's a synthetic fabric on the top). Also need to wash IMMEDIATELY in the AM so it has time to airdry all day (CANNOT machine dry as it can crack the waterproof layer over time).

My almost 11 year old autistic son has always wet the bed and we are no longer able to find large waterproof crib mats, so had become very torn and worn..these new mats work beautifully, are softer and thicker than average mats, are not plastic-backed (easier to dry in the dryer!!), my son really likes these mats...they seem to hold a lot of urine without any trouble

I can't believe I didn't buy one sooner. I have saved HOURS in washing sheets. When used with the monitor for a couple of weeks, the problem is almost resolved!

This pad is wonderful. My dog likes to sleep on the soft bed topper. There is no loud plastic noise when she repositions herself during the night. Easy to wash. Hot water does not deteriorate fabric. MUST buy two, one can be put in wash while other is being used. Dries quickly. Stains come out easily. What more can you ask for???

This product has given me assurance at night (and nap times) that if my little one has a bedwetting accident that I will not have to change all the sheets. Sometimes the side tabs that tuck under the mattress loosen and this shifts the protective overlay but the product is large enough that it still does the job.
