My 6 1/2 year old son wets the bed nightly. We tried the other mattress overlay that has the sides that tuck under the mattress, but the overlay still managed to move around and was ineffective. We purchased two of these recently and have been very pleased. They are thick, stay in place, cover a large area and launder nicely.

I think this is a great product and very easy to change at night. The inly thing that is not so great is that it bunches when he tosses and turns at night. I have tryed the ones you can tuck and they do the same thing so not bad for this product. Easly washes and drys quickly.

I keep this pad on my child's bed at all times. We have never had a problem with anything leaking through. We even took a pad with us on vacation to protect the bed. I wish I had known about this product long before as it would have saved me a lot of time washing sheets.

I bought two of the overlays with the flaps that tuck under the mattress (one for each child). They fit their full-size beds perfectly and protect from their shoulders to their knees. They have significantly reduced the amount of laundry that I need to do if someone has an accident because they really do protect the bottom sheet and mattress pad under that. The flaps keep the overlay in place for the most part, but every now and then one of the kids will shift in a way that they weren't completely "covered" and that's the ONLY time these fail. In the six months we've been using these, we have completely eliminated pull ups at night. And amazingly ever since we've let the kids sleep in underwear and not a pull up they have had more dry nights than wet. So I think that these overlays really helped them develop better bladder control because they didn't have to wear pull ups anymore and they got to feel wet without me having to do crazy amounts of laundry. They wash and dry quickly, and we only needed one for each bed. TOTALLY worth the money!

I have used the waterproof overlay on my son's bed. I used to have to strip all of the sheets and protectors nightly and scramble to find him something else to sleep on. Now, I remove the wet protector and my son is back to sleep in seconds! I have taken it on vacation and have washed it many times. It still looks like new. I don't know what I did before I had it. This is just what I was looking for. It protects and save time having to washing all the bedding. Keep in mind, you will have to wash the top sheet along with the padding. But its worth the price.

I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old who, despite being potty trained since age 2, were still wetting the bed. We tried everything from nothing, pull-ups, pills, and alarms but nothing worked. 2 weeks sleeping on these pads and then they could stay dry! Its been months now without accidents! Thank you!!
