Comments: I bought the full size and the queen size versions for my children (ages 7 and 5), and the mattress is exactly what it states - waterproof (or in my 5 year old son's case; "liquid-proof". Unfortunately, he has a tendency to drink too much before bed and has wet the bed about 4 separate occasions in the last 2 months. No spill over on his mattress tho, so the newly purchased mattress pad has saved his bed. It washed and dried perfectly. My previous mattress pads got shredded in the washer and wilted in the dryer on low heat. Bottom line: this mattress pad is truly liquid-proof and worth the money. |

However, when I first put the pad on the mattress, it tore approximately 3 inches along the seam connecting the pad to the sides. |
